After a horrible day dealing with my mom being suddenly discharged from her nursing rehabilitation facility, I'm taking a moment in my community garden with a book and a slush puppy.

Adding some new and very eligible dates in my book matchmaking shop! (Link in my bio.)
I'm so completely worn out from driving to see my mom in rehab for her hip every day and staying on top of her care. On top of which I've thrown out by back, again, and, as usual, there isn't anything the doctora can do. Paused for a moment at a park near where she is today.
Matching people with book dates at a vendor fair at the local library today!
I've been trying to read this one for a while. It's been a stressful few days. My mother fell and broke her hip and is in the hospital. Probably going to be a
long road to recovery. I'm an only child and everything falls to me. Dealing with it alone is hard.
Made my mom a booze boquet for Mother's Day. I knew she'd appreciate this more than a traditional boquet. #Litsycrafters
Found a cozy and quite oom to work in at my local library away from my local library away from my neighbor's construction.
Finally starting to tap into my tea swap pile and try a Stroopwafel for the first time. The box advised me to heat did it on top of my cup but my cup is too big :(
Really excited to try all my new teas from the #teaswap in my fabulous new mug I just picked up from Barnes and Noble! My teas went out today, a little late, but hopefully better than never...
Living my best life today while working a Barnes and Noble fundraiser for work.

Spending my Birthday browsing in my favorite used bookshop with @witchyreader13. This is the store's mascot, made from books!
So nice to receive more birthday cards on another hellish day after throwing my back out.
So excited for a long awaited Day Light Savings Time and days warm enough to actually read outside in this cute area in front of the library.
After a nightmarish weekend so happy to receive more birthday month mail @Lovesbooks87
There were three books sales at three different libraries this three day weekend. This is what a Presidents Day Sale should be! #bookhaul
Thanks @BookNAround for the lovely Valentine's Day Swap box! I can't wait to read both of them! ❤️
It's so *fun* to be out of the house during this frozen tundra season that is the Northeast right now. Masked up, of course. #arewehavingfunyet #maskup

Just a small haul from today's library book sale. I was trying to be good because I'm running out of space for books. #smallhaul #thestruggleisreal

I'm all about physical books. #two4tuesday
My library just started giving out a spice of the month. Last month was clove, which I used to make poached pears with red wine and mulled wine for New Year's. This month I made the recipe they provided for rosemary red potatoes.
Photo Bomb by my new mermaids measuring spoons.

Apparently I spent much time in utero in this sunroom at a local library. I still feel drawn to this room. #Library #Libraries #LibraryPorn
I'm looking to trade this for this novel "The Archivist" , the "Deluxe Edition" (different cover and foreword) or Sideways with the original cover.
The is an extra, unread copy an ex bought me that I don't want to keep.
Every Fall I return to the Woodsman series. This time I'm reading Anne's Assignment Wildlife memoir of her wildlife and conversation adventures while away from her cabin. I took my signed copy out as I have to read her writing while in nature.

Pumpkin, Maple and Champagne Truffles, the perfect Fall reading companion. 🍁
Every year, in early September, I read something about 9/11 and this new book is a great timeline of events. It's so sad how young people will never really get the impact of September 11.
When your ex is described in a book.
"This is my spot"
Unfortunately, watching the movie is almost a waste without reading the book first. There is so much symbolism that references the book but is unexplained in the movie. It's kind of unfortunate how much they left out, including everything relating to the San Clemente Syndrome which is the entire point of the book. The movie ends up just being a nice little ode to this book which is actually intellectual and profound.
A small town library I stumbled upon has an adorable Book Barn. 5 books for $2.50 #haulgoals
I wish we could post multiple pictures in the same post like Instagram, I have so many cute pics from inside :(
