DGRachel Yep. I‘m using the challenges to help prioritize my TBR, even though I don‘t expect to finish any of said challenges. I have so many books that I need something to keep me from getting overwhelmed by the list. 😂 6y

AshleyHoss820 Technically, I do...My New Year's resolution is to only read books that I own, from the library or inter-library loan. I'm trying to impose a book buying ban until my birthday (in May) and then again until next Christmas...😱😳 We shall see! I'm prioritizing my books so the 1,001 list comes first. 6y

buecherwurm It's more a TBR stack for the moment I'm back home from visiting my family for christmas and have a few days holiday until I start working again. And it's actually just all the books which I got as presents/bought/will get as presents for christmas. But technically there is a bunch of books ready next to my sofa I'll read and for which I'm already considering which to read first. 6y

The book tagged is not the book in the picture. And I am not assumed to admit that I have read more than my fair share of erotica. I even professionally reviewed it for a while. And most of my holiday stories on my iPad fall in this category.

jpmcwisemorgan @TricksyTails Mine are Santa elves but I think one book had a dark elf. There are reindeer involved too but they are people who protect Santaland, or whatever it‘s called, and their title is a play on reindeer. That‘s all I know. I bought the entire set of books. I will post as I read them. 😀 6y

jpmcwisemorgan @TricksyTails I think they are not elves like you might see in Christmas shows/movies but definitely not Legolas elves. I‘m hoping @LibrarianRyan might assist with the latter. 6y

I‘ve never seen this series before! It showed as an also-bought on another book I was looking at (My literature category recommendations on my own Kindle includes a lot of m|m romance. My newer Kindle actually just goes, recommended for you in gay romance - it gets its own section now). The first one is free. It looks like there‘s now a possibility for #elfporn, without the squickiness of tentacles or dinosaurs.

jpmcwisemorgan @TricksyTails @GondorGirl I have no idea what this series might be like but the first one is free so I think I might try it. It looks like there‘s a new one every year in December. As far as I can determine it plays in a lot of Christmas/winter lore (Rein Dears, not reindeers, etc.) but there are elves. Not Legolas, I don‘t think but one never knows. I think it‘ll be my Christmas story this year! 6y
