It‘s been a busy weekend. I didn‘t want to try to figure out what to read so I kept with this series. Besides this full book I also read a couple of short companion stories to this series. A Deadly Brew and Rockets Dead Glare.

This was a cute #SeasonalCozies pick. I enjoyed reading it more than listening to it. I do talk at my fur babies but… I think hearing the narrator talking to Prozac (🐈) didn‘t sound as natural as reading it.

This is my February Pick for #SeasonalCozies. I was able to borrow it in both audio and ebook formats from Libby so I can switch between the 2. (I‘m already not enjoying the narrator)🤷🏻♀️
I laughed so hard so many times. Jaine Austin is hired to write song lyrics for a teen pageant entrant. When one of the pageant‘s staff members was murdered, Jaine tries to determine the killer. Some of the funniest scenes though, are when Jaine has to deal with the upper crust family of her boyfriend.
Pushing to make my 100 reads for this year. Gonna come down to the wire, I think.
Book 2 in the Blackmoore Sisters romantic mystery series. I liked this one a bit more than the first book. Another quick, cozy listen.

I had loads of fun trying to fill the #BodyCountBingo board, which was perfect for all the mystery and horror books I was reading for #scarathlon. I didn't manage to fill the board but got a good number of bingo points for #skeletoncrew. @Emilymdxn
Many thanks to @PuddleJumper for hosting!
WTF did I just read? That was truly something. It constantly switches POV between several characters including a cat and dog (who are smarter than the human characters)
I like this cozy mystery series that takes place on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It‘s totally unrealistic that the library‘s book club happens to read a book that pertains to the murder every time, but who cares. They‘re fun and easy reads.
