The lucky grasshopper weather vane has vanished from Town Hall! It‘s up to the Bob Whites to figure out where it went & why.

I liked this one a lot! Trixie & Honey use their detective skills, go to the adults when appropriate, the adults listen (!). A bit predictable, but an unexpected twist I had forgotten. I did start to get a little tired of Thesaurus Mart, & I think this one is a new ghost writer because we start w/ a long summary! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

I liked this one well enough. I like that it centered around someone the kids saw at school. Even if, at this point, any new people in Sleepyside pretty much have to be involved in whatever crime has been committed, I still like it best when the books are set there. I was happy for Bobby getting to ride like the big kids. #bobwhitebuddies

This was a fun mystery, nothing groundbreaking. I enjoyed the banter and Mart's huge words. However, I needed more horses 😂 The villain felt ridiculously obvious here, but the other aspects of the mystery (how, why, time capsule, clues, etc) were fun.

Finished last week for #BobWhiteBuddies it is good timing as the book is set in Fall so it made for a good #HyggeHour last week. I didn‘t remember this one all that well so I guess I didn‘t reread it much during childhood.🤷🏻‍♀️ It takes place in Sleepyside & involves the disappearance of “Hoppy” the grasshopper weathervane on top of City Hall & the side mystery of missing coins & a new teacher‘s aide at school who ⬇️

Soft pick. Trixie was annoying as could be, and my claustrophobic self hated the caves. 😵‍💫 But the ghost fish are amazing!

I have the urge to finally watch the last season of Ozark now. The Bob Whites would be eaten alive. 💰💰💰

I am desperately trying to create a fall vibe with this stuffing popcorn that I may need to get more of 😋& (cold) apple cider 🍎 because it‘s 77 degrees F. here at 8 PM & I want it to be colder & feel like fall. 🍂

My mood is resigned (if still melancholy) to it being Monday tomorrow.😵‍💫

Soft pick. Marshes and swamps have always creeped me out. I was happy seeing Trixie move past her dislike for snobby Gaye when she realized how miserable the little girl was. Also, an early example of misinformation from the media. 😖
