So grateful for urban dictionary. #nofemmeber “that‘s when Billy would take me walkin. A through the backyard we‘d go walkin “ I‘m fairly certain the preachers son was all in her #bizness.

Billypar "referring to personal matters"....you gotta love dictionaries, urban or otherwise ? 4y
Cinfhen 😂😂😂 4y
tournevis Francophone here: I thought that was "bidness". I know that spelling exists. Confused. 4y
Chrissyreadit @tournevis it is just slang. 4y
tournevis @Chrissyreadit So would bizness. Still confused 4y

I always love the glamorous covers on the Trigiani books. This one was about a young woman who wants to help her grandmother continue the custom bridal shoe #bizness that is in jeopardy of closing. #nofemmeber

MicrobeMom I enjoyed this series! 4y
Billypar Nice! Love the vibrant colors 😍 4y

DivineDiana @wen4blu I didn‘t realize this was a series and actually read 4y

#bizness #nofemmeber
Weirdly the chapter of the book im on for X in my crime A-Z seemed littered with business references including insp chen translating a contract from Chinese to english, and the conflict of capitalism against communism. But i cannot resist a book which includes some local food description even braised tripe.

Billypar Local food, work, opinions- I feel like all this really enhances a good mystery novel, even if none of it is relevant for the plot. 4y
batsy Tripe... Maybe not, but that shrimp and a cold beer sounds delish 😆 4y

I make it my #bizness to read everything about 9/11, so I had to pick up this novel about the planning of the 9/11 memorial and what happens when the winning design turns out to have been created by an American Muslim. I haven‘t read it yet.

MicheleinPhilly I loved this book. Pretty sure it was my favorite the year it came out. 4y
Amiable I really liked this one. 4y
Megabooks I‘m fascinated by 9-11, mainly because I slept through it. I was in college and went partying until 3 AM the night before and didn‘t wake up until 2 PM. I‘m very embarrassed about this. I feel like I missed a defining moment of my generation. 4y

Reviewsbylola Sounds like you were living the Dream tho! As for me, I was in HS and I remember hearing about it in 2nd period study hall and asking our monitor if anyone had died. She looked at me like I was an absolute moron, rightfully so. @megabooks 4y
Megabooks Yikes! Did they put it on a TV in the classroom? I worked at Duke‘s paper and my bff was the editor, and she called me and woke me, and said, “Why aren‘t you here?” Then I asked what was up. She asked me to turn on the tv, any channel. I was basically like, “Oh shit, give me 20 minutes!” 4y
Billypar This sounds amazing! Clever concept- interested in where this could go. 4y
Cinfhen I was married with two kids and very pregnant with child #3 and you two were in school.... I feel old now @Megabooks @Reviewsbylola 😫as for the book I owned it at one point but it ended up in a swap box🙄😛 4y
Megabooks @Cinfhen I find it really interesting when I find out someone‘s age or age range on Litsy. I‘m glad we have these differences. 👍🏻 Anyway, when I was watching Unexpected on TLC (teen mom show) this fall one of the grandmothers was 32 and another was 36. That definitely freaked me out! 4y
britt_brooke Sounds good. #stacked I was in college in my sophomore English class when it happened .... and soon to be married to an Army LT who would subsequently deploy to Iraq 3 times. @Reviewsbylola @Cinfhen @Megabooks 4y
Cinfhen @britt_brooke 😞how terrifying and you‘re legit married to a hero 🦸‍♂️ ❤️ 4y
Cinfhen I‘m 52 and still NOT a grandma 👵🏻 @Megabooks 32 is VERY young to be a grandma 😱 4y
Reviewsbylola I am so glad he made it back. Thank you to your husband for his service! @britt_brooke 4y
Reviewsbylola Um yeah the 32 year old grandma was crazy to me. I had a toddler and a baby at 32. I legit can‘t imagine. @Cinfhen @Megabooks 4y
britt_brooke @Reviewsbylola Thank you! ❤️ 4y
Megabooks @britt_brooke Amazing husband! Please thank him very much for his service! Much appreciation to all of your family at home, too. 💕 4y
Megabooks @Reviewsbylola @Cinfhen It was amazing to see how many of the girls were second or even third generation teen moms. SMH 4y
britt_brooke @Megabooks Thank you! 🥰 4y

I‘m finding this book a struggle ... and then , I see this beautiful quote from Rumi ... one I remember .. . And just to be reminded of this is brilliant.... 💫💫💫 I want to meet in that field ❤️❤️❤️
And can I tie this in with #nofemmeber #bizness .. Rumi again : before I speak : “ is it True , is it Necessary, is it Kind “
It‘s only my own bizness I can really speak of

Tanisha_A I think we could tie Rumi in to everything! ❤️ 4y
Cathythoughts @Tanisha_A I really think we could ♥️ 4y

Billypar I love those three criteria- wisdom that can be put into practice with just a little discipline. 4y
Cathythoughts @Billypar I love those 3 criteria too ..... I must try harder 👍🏻♥️ 4y
batsy I love this. Thank you for sharing it. Some quotes just arrive when you need it most! ❤️ 4y
Cathythoughts @batsy I love these quotes too , Rumi is great !! Thankyou Rumi 💫 4y

I'm totally blaming Eli Brown and his Owen Wedgewood for how I spent my afternoon.

Made soap and lotion bars.

My friends will tell me, I should start a small Etsy #bizness, but that's too much red tape. So, I'm making these to give away to physio therapists, friends and neighbours.

#NoFemmeber @Billypar @Cinfhen

Also, I'm grateful that I can spend my #time with such hobbies.

#Gratitude30 @hermyknee

Cinfhen How fun & fabulous 🙌🏻💕 4y
Tanisha_A You are so talented! 🙂 4y
jmofo I‘m glad you‘re having a good time! I love making things too and people also suggest I sell them but that‘s work in itself and sounds like a lot less fun than just doing what I enjoy without monetary expectations. 4y

julesG @jmofo That's exactly it. I want to enjoy making these things, I don't want it to be a chore. 4y
julesG @Tanisha_A Thanks! 4y
Maike Wow! That looks lovely 😉 4y
julesG @Maike And it smelled heavenly! 4y
Billypar Mmm...I would like to invest! 😋 4y
julesG @Billypar That would be a huge investment. I'd need to rent a workshop. (main reason why I won't sell my stuff) 4y

DAY 26: Back to #bizness as usual; Monday morning cycle class followed by a little reading in the lobby before grabbing my 4 year old from childcare. I love my YMCA. It keeps me sane! 💛

Cinfhen Love how dedicated you are to exercise 🙌🏻💚 4y
britt_brooke @Cinfhen Thanks! 🙌🏻 Now, if I could just be more dedicated to eating better. 😬 4y

Stayed up past midnight finishing this one. The people of three pines often have hidden pasts and in this one even darker #bizness is hidden in the woods. Gamache, Beauvoir, and Lacoste work together to unravel a crime with international implications. Story seemed far-fetched until I read the author‘s note and learned that the historical part of the novel is based on a true story. #faveauthor #fallintoreading #nofemmeber

Cinfhen Still haven‘t read this author yet 😔 4y

Blaire @Cinfhen she‘s such a nice comfort read (if you like mysteries). Love going back to the familiar setting. 4y
Billypar Love it when the 'truth is stranger than fiction' maxim holds true 😃 4y
vkois88 I need to pick up some of her books. I hear such wonderful things, but have yet to take the plunge. I think it would be easier if my TBR list didn't have so many titles already 😑😑😑 4y
kspenmoll Just love this series. I just got her latest 4y
Blaire @Billypar yes! Was shocked to see one of the characters was based on something that actually happened. Any more detail would be a big spoiler. 4y
Blaire @vkois88 you should!! If you‘re ever in a slump she‘s a good one to get out of it with. 4y
Blaire @kspenmoll I‘m trying to pace myself so I don‘t run out of them! 😍 4y

This book means #bizness . #NoFemmeber

Cinfhen Ooooh!!! You get the poster!!! Cool 4y
Billypar Yes it does! I wonder what the process was to create the list- like did he start with a list of 5,000 and whittle it down, or just keep adding here and there until he reached 1,000? 🤔 Or just take all his 5 star picks on Goodreads? 😁 4y
Librarybelle @Billypar I know! I should look to see if he defines his criteria. Wouldn‘t it be funny if it was the 5 star GR picks? 🤣 4y
vivastory @Billypar There's a really interesting YouTube video of the event he did at the Strand for the release. I definitely recommend it. 4y
