There is no possible way for me to come up with a post for #ReadingResolutions Day 10 prompt #Top3MustReads
While scrolling through my 5 star ratings, I‘m thinking that the top 3 musts for 20yrs would be very different from the top 3 for 40yrs depending on whether they were male or female, married or single, divorced, widowed, children, no children, teens would have a very different list, horror has a list, Star Wars is its own list and on and on

Red Rising | Pierce Brown

My #Top3MustReads for #readingresolutions were tough to choose!
I picked Red Rising because I think it's a great book for people who don't like Sci-fi. I've recommended to several people who never would have chosen it, but ended up loving it.
When I read The Red Tent I remember wanting to buy it for every woman I knew...I loved it.
Josephine B. is one of my favorite historical fiction series so I always suggest it to HF fans.

@Jess7

MicrobeMom Love Red Rising! 6y
Ingerella @MicrobeMom I can't wait to read Iron Gold. It's on my Kindle calling me! 6y
TheBookStacker I have never read The Red Tent but i just got it on kindle so I plan to read it soon but not before I read Iron Gold it is just sitting waiting for me to finish my current read! 6y

Ingerella @TheBookStacker Same for me! I'm hoping to start it as soon as I finish my marked-up book swap book. I hope you love The Red Tent as much as I did. 6y
MicrobeMom @Ingerella loved Iron Gold also! As action packed as the first series. 6y
AmberWB The Red Tent is a book I would have never chosen for myself, but had to read for a book club. And it was EXCELLENT. So glad I read it. 6y
Ingerella @AmberWB Me too! 6y
TheBookgeekFrau Loved ‘Red Tent‘ and the Josephine B trilogy💜💜💜💜💜 6y

For anyone interested in psychology, trauma and mental illnesses, these are #top3mustreads 👌 a Danish psychology professor said in an interview last year, that novels dealing with people‘s inner lives should be made part of the curriculum, and I can only agree!

#ReadingResolutions

blondie I need to start A Little Life soon! I've read the other two. 6y
Simona And I agree with you 😘 6y
mrsamandahood I‘ve started and stopped reading An Unquiet Mind so many times. I know I need to push through and just finish it. Have you? Did you find it helpful? 6y
DebBates101 I agree! xo 6y
Kalalalatja @blondie it is so good, but totally heartbreaking! @Simona @DebBates101 novels give great insight into the minds of people, and I have definitely learnt more from some novels than some of my text books! @mrsamandahood I couldn‘t put it down when I started it! I thought it was great, but it can be a bit dry in the beginning 6y

Suet624 Yup. All great. 6y
britt_brooke @JoScho It‘s really good. Karr has two more memoirs that follow this one - Cherry and Lit. They‘re all pretty fantastic! 6y
Librariana Oh, I've heard phenomenal things about the bottom and middle titles. I'm super curious about 6y
britt_brooke @Librariana They are both outstanding! I read The Animators last month and still can‘t believe it‘s a debut. I can‘t wait to read more from Whitaker. 6y
erinreads I‘ve been seeing The Animators so much lately for a book that came out awhile ago, so it‘s probably just a sign I should probably read it already! 6y
britt_brooke @erinreads I just read it last month after all of the continually amazing reviews. It lives up to the hype, IMO. I loved it! 6y
erinreads @britt_brooke Hopefully it‘s available through BOTM so I can use one of my credits next month! 6y
britt_brooke @erinreads I know @Jess7 just got it from #BOTM this month so hopefully they‘ll still have copies in May. 🤞🏻 6y

Summer Wives | Beatriz Williams
post image

These are my #top3mustreads for April!
Summer Wives is a beautifully written book about east coast island living in the summer. A classic tale of the haves and havenots.
The Thorn Birds is an epic love story but it starts out with #siblings and their family dynamics.
Jane Steele is a story of an orphan who tries to survive in a #cruelworld but I love that it‘s written with wry humor.
