Thanks to #Netgalley I got a chance to read #WonderWomanWarbringerTheGraphicNovel which means I now need to make time to read the novel it‘s based off of because I found it really enjoyable and want more. It‘ll be interesting too to see how they compare. Beautifully illustrated and wonderful colors, will recommend this book when it comes out in January 2020.

Just signed up for this WW themed 5K at my university. My first 5K - and I‘m not the least bit in shape...LOL. Time to get moving!

GrilledCheeseSamurai Awesome 🤘. I don't think I could run a city block. 😂. Good luck. 👍 1w
JackOBotts @GrilledCheeseSamurai - Thank you! I don‘t know how much running I‘ll do. This may be a “brisk walk” 5K. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 1w

When I was about halfway through with that book I went online to check its genre. Then I checked again. Then I closed the book and took a deep breath. This really is labeled as YA.

YA being the genre I dislike the most, sometimes even feeling physical pain while reading it. This one I loved.

Therefore I consider this as a miracle.

Buechersuechtling 😂 Love your review. 😘 2w

Yep, nope, not for me.

I do not normally read tie-in novels -- I prefer my comics to be comics, my movies to be movies, and my novels to be novels. But I'm giving this a go, because I got it in a subscription box and it always pays to give new things a try, and I do like Bardugo's other books. We'll see!

Still working through my graphic novel pile! I‘ve finally started Grant Morrison‘s Batman run, and after taking so long to buy them and figure out the reading order... I‘m not quite sure how I feel... or what‘s happening... #currentlyreading

GrilledCheeseSamurai That sounds about right for Grant Morrison. 😂. I found his run had a lot of peaks and valleys for me. Scott Snyder's run on modern Batman was, for me, alot more enjoyable. 🤷‍♂️ 3w
StellaDz @GrilledCheeseSamurai I‘m finding it all over the place. Not very cohesive! I have Snyder‘s run as well! I love everything he does! 3w

Sensation Comics was published by DC Comics between 1942 and 1952. For most of its run, the lead feature was Wonder Woman. These bound issues were part of the Men of Steel, Women of Wonder museum display.

I‘m a sucker for “what if...” scenarios, and this book is a high watermark in the genre. In a brilliant set up, Conan finds an amnesiac Diana, champion of a gladiator pit, defeating all challengers. The Cimmerian recognizes Diana as childhood crush from another tribe he thought long dead. They unite to combat witches bent on world conquest. Will they succeed? Will Diana regain her memories? Who is the mysterious girl from Conan‘s youth?

Yes, it's after midnight...and yes, Im reading comic books and eating cookies in bed. 🤷‍♂️

This is the beginning of Grant Morrison's '97 run With Justice League of America. Ive never actually read it before.

An alien group of superheros have shown up on earth claiming to be its saviours.

Obviously they aren't - but they're crazy powerful & right now the League is fucked.

So, yeah. I'ma read & eat cookies in bed till I know everyone is safe 😅
