Made myself a what to read jar as I can never decide what to read next lol. Got to get through my TBR haha #whattoread #booksbooksbooks #tbr #readingchoices #toomanybooks #decisons

DinoMom Great idea! 2y
Cupcake12 What‘s the next book then? 2y
hannah-leeloo Kids just picked out this one @Cupcake12 😊 2y
tokorowilliamwallace I wouldn't be able to follow my picks, just as it's very difficult for me to remain focused in a linear fashion with any books I decide upon. I'm too slow of a reader to clip off my tbr at top knots. My constantly shifting reading moods determine what I can read momentarily, and if I'm not in the mood for the book I pick out of the jar... I tried to get through We Are the Brennans in the last week of March before my BOTM came in, couldn't do it. 2y
hannah-leeloo In those cases I could swap them out @tokorowilliamwallace 😊 2y

AllDebooks @Andrew65 Idk why it's taken me so long to get round to it 2y
Andrew65 @AllDebooks I only read it last year. #TooManyBooks 2y
AllDebooks I think we all have that problem @Andrew65 🤔 2y
TheAromaofBooks I draw new numbers every month, and all 20 numbers are in play (so 5 was drawn this month, but 5 could theoretically be drawn again next month). However, this challenge is VERY flexible, so it's whatever works best for you!! You can update your list each month however works for you - just replacing read books, creating an entirely new list, or even leaving blank spaces blank by letting your remaining books count for more than one slot. ⬇ 2y
TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) For instance, if you read book 5 this month you can either put a new book in its place for March or you can let book 4 cover both spaces. The goal is to get books off the TBR, so feel free to stretch this challenge to help you do that!! 2y
AllDebooks That makes sense, thanks for the help @TheAromaofBooks 2y

Check out this beauty! My second book cart. I love the color! It joins the very full mint green one. Now to decide which books will fill it. #bookcart #toomanybooks

Hooked_on_books Fabulous color! Mine is super-boring grey. I‘d rather have this one! 3y

DivineDiana It is lovely! 3y
TheSpineView It is a gorgeous color! Two is always better than one!📚📚📚 3y
ReadingEnvy How do you decide which books go on a shelf vs cart? 3y
LeslieO @ReadingEnvy My other cart had mostly BOTM. Haven‘t decided about this one. I‘ll probably end up reorganizing the whole system! 3y
ReadingEnvy @LeslieO that's the fun part! 3y

The ‘currently reading‘ stack.

I always find (when reading several books at a time) that my ‘sweet spot‘ is one non-fiction, one vintage children‘s, and one adult fiction.

What‘s your ideal stack? 😊

Ruthiella I loved Less Than Angels! 😍 I usually have a number of books going at once and just have to make sure that they are distinct enough from each other, whether by genre or subject matter, etc. 3y
LeahBergen Same! I definitely have to make sure that I don‘t read two vintage children‘s books at the same time (as I tend to choose books of very similar subject matter 🙄). @Ruthiella (edited) 3y
Cathythoughts I recently read Less Than Angels .. really enjoyed 👍🏻. I only ever read 1 book at a time , but influenced by Litsy I‘ve branched out lately & have maybe 3 books on the go ... & yes maybe one historical & one more modern / or at least different genres.. a hardback , a kindle book ( for bed & lights out ) , an audio for walking... I‘m finding my way. It‘s fun 👍🏻😁 3y

Simona Almost always my pairing is nonfiction as audiobooks, and literary fiction as ebook/print. 3y
TrishB I only ever read one book at a time! 3y
CarolynM I almost always have a romance going on the kindle as a bedtime book, as well as whatever one or two hard copy books I've got going - mostly fiction but sometimes something factual. 3y
youneverarrived I generally have a non-fiction and fiction book on the go (one on kindle and one in print) plus an audiobook. Works for me 👍 3y
MsMelissa I have no idea what my ideal stack would look like. 🤔 3y
Dogearedcopy Someone once told me that you should always have a fiction, a non-fiction and, a biography going at the same time. (I‘ve always wondered why they made a distinction between NF & bio!) Anyway, my current ideal is a play, a romance and, a wild card choice in audio. A movie based on a book usually makes the mix too! 🙂 3y
MaureenMc I generally have one fiction and one nonfiction going at the same time. Lately, I‘ve found I can‘t have more than 2 at a time, as it just seems like it takes forever to finish them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3y
JenniferP One fiction and one nonfiction. I sometimes add a third long term read (think a big classic like Proust, Don Quixote, a Trollope series). 3y
KVanRead What a lovely stack💕 Mine would be one non-fiction, one lit classic, and one contemporary novel. 3y
charl08 As many as I can get my hands on. #nobookishselfcontrol #toomanybooks 3y
britt_brooke Beautiful stack! For me - one physical book, one ebook, one audio. It can be a mix of genres, but at least one needs to be nonfiction. 3y
ValerieAndBooks My reading mix is usually one or two big chunkster ( if it's two -- one of each of non fiction and fiction), one or two micro-histories, and a quick fiction read! At least 3 going at a time. 3y
LeahBergen @ValerieAndBooks I need to crack into another history chunkster soon. 👍 3y
Suet624 I basically can only read one book at a time. 😳 3y
