What She Left: A Novel | T.R. Richmond
Pickpick

It's a little hard to get into. The setup is interesting but the snippets of perspectives go back and forth in time, and it's not very easy to follow at first. Still a pick for me because I thought the author did a great job conveying the stifling feeling of loss that follows the death of a loved one, while in contrast showing just how much of us survives through our online profiles.

YasmiNova I should really tag this one for the #Booked2019 #socialmediafocus, although i have little hope of completing the challenge now! @4thhouseontheleft @BarbaraTheBibliophage @Cinfhen 5d

Cinfhen Agreeing with @BarbaraTheBibliophage and EVERY book counts for a chance to win!!!! 5d

Cinfhen Yay Liz!!! Despite your health and vision acting up you still read soooo many books!!!! If you click #socialmediafocus it should take you to past books read. I read a free book from Kindle titled #MeToo but it was #MoreMehThanYeah 3w
JazzFeathers 👏👏👏😀 3w
Lizpixie @AsYouWish thank you! @Riveted_Reader_Melissa great minds & all that. I have 8 left on your #NonFiction2019 too! I find this is the hardest part of the year for challenges, the only ones left are usually ones you‘re not looking forward to or have no idea how to fill🤔Thanks for the tip for #social media focus 3w
Lizpixie @Cinfhen thanks my #sisterfromanothermister✌️being chronically ill is mostly a bonus for reading time, unless of course you‘re having a flare & are too sick to even do that.Thankfully the new glasses have helped so much with the vision, as long as I remember to put my eye drops in, it‘s fine(though I have a hatred of anything wet in my 👀)The incredible support from you guys has meant so much to me as well, thank you from the bottom of my heart♥️ 3w
Lizpixie @JazzFeathers 😘♥️♥️♥️ 3w
Riveted_Reader_Melissa For 12 though, I highly recommend this one, there is a drink on the cover, but it‘s a quick picture book about an introvert and reader. So quick, fun read. 3w
Riveted_Reader_Melissa And for book about addiction, I read another graphic memoir, if you have any interest 3w
Riveted_Reader_Melissa Hope it helps, enjoy whatever you decide to read. 3w

⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book addresses a very important topic, and I think it‘s great that it‘s being sold at cost (free on kindle 👍🏽) to make it more accessible to people. However, it does feel like it was kind of just thrown together and it could have used some more editing. Still, given the importance of the subject matter, and the fact that it‘s free, I‘d still suggest giving it a shot.

It‘s been a while since I‘ve devoured a book like a did this one. The author timed bringing out more secrets at the right time to keep me hooked. I honestly didn‘t catch on to who it was until the end. Such a great book! Looking forward to the sequel! #booked2019 #socialmediafocus

Cinfhen Sequel??? Really!!??? Yay!!!! 3mo
Sresendez12 @Cinfhen I know! I was excited about it before I even finished the first one! 3mo

It surprises me sometimes how few folks know about Bletchley Park, much less the impact it had not only on the Allies success in WWII but also that it's the birthplace of modern computer science. This book tells the story of how a chance visit to Bletchley by Dr. Sue Black, a computer scientist, where she saw the state of disrepair of what should've long ago been a British landmark, caused her to embark on a campaign to save it...using Twitter!

BarbaraTheBibliophage Oh, that's so great! Thanks for the heads up! 4mo

Aaandd that‘s a wrap for #Booked2019 #Spring, let‘s never leave a season so late again 😂

Not a “light” season but a completed one. Ness (#CliFi ) was the weirdest by far, Metal (#FeaturesaMusician ) the most intellectually interesting. Mai Tai (#FoodorBeverageonCover) was the weakest. Talking to my Country (#IndigenousAuthor) dovetailed into I am a Troll (#SocialMediaFocus) and both, terrifyingly seemed to run into Night (#NightOrientedTitle).

Cinfhen Bring on summer 💛🌞🌈🌴 4mo
GlassAsDiamonds @Cinfhen agreed. I‘m still finding it difficult to really pin down all my thoughts on Night but I am impressed at how many of us chose it for this prompt. 4mo

Cinfhen He‘s brilliant!!! He‘s a neurosurgeon and the nicest sweetest guy. Fabulous neighbor & good looking too😉 4mo
GlassAsDiamonds @Cinfhen wow! That‘s a complete package!! 😂😂😂😂 4mo
Cinfhen And did I mention he׳s recently divorced 😜 4mo
GlassAsDiamonds @Cinfhen Divorced you say.... 🤔🤔🤔🤔 At 3am this morning I discovered that Mr GaD had gone to bed while I was still reading and turned off the hot water heater, leaving me to either stay awake for 30min longer while it heated up to “barely warm” or have a cold shower. Cute neighbour and I may shortly have one more thing in common 😡😡😡😡😡 4mo
Cinfhen Ugh!! The hot water heater is the bain of my existence but only in the winter months😂😂but I totally get it 4mo
