Coldest Girl in Coldtown | Holly Black

So I came here to complain about it being 13 degrees and then I see everybody else‘s temperatures. Holy moly. -25 degrees?! How can you handle it lol? Seriously though I don‘t live in the South for nothing. 13 degrees is insane. It would be a perfect day to stay in bed all day with tea and books but alas I am headed back to work.

ErinC -13 here. It was in the -20s the past couple days at times. It‘s just awful! 6y

Chasing_Pages “Feels like” -2 here. No Fun but my family is in Illinois and it‘s “feels like” -26 there so I can‘t complain too much! 6y

CocoReads Yes, we‘ve got a feels like -35 this morning. It‘s not unheard of but it‘s also not that common either. The lake tends to keep us buried in snow but usually the temps are at least in the double digits, normally. And above 0. (edited) 6y

MidnightBookGirl Yup, it was 12 degrees in Richmond, VA this morning. We do get some cold weather here, but our winters have been super mild the last few years. It's definitely a shock to the system! ❄😨 6y

Kristyngansen -28 here. I haven‘t left my house since Dec. 30. Ha. I haven‘t seen a positive temp in that time either. Unfortunately I have no choice but to leave today. 😬😬 6y

Knightingale @AmyG I do live in the mountains of Colorado. We haven‘t had any snow at all this year. It‘s still in the 50s and all the ski resorts are still making their own snow. For us, it‘s one of the warmest and driest winters ever. 6y

JanuarieTimewalker13 I don‘t feel fully alive in this weather. It‘s as though I live a partial existence. It‘s fun at first, but now it‘s too much. Feels like temp in central jersey shore region: 1 degree due to winds...but there will be 🌞 6y

Melissa_J I‘m going to be the weird one here and say the extreme cold temps don‘t bother me (much). They do initially because of the shock, but once I‘m used to the cold I‘m okay. I just bundle up when I have to go outside (it felt like -30 here this morning) and stay inside otherwise. I‘d rather have it be very cold than receive lots of snow. 6y

Moray_Reads It's pretty temperate in Scotland most of the time, at its coldest last week when it was -7°C. At 13°C it's a sign summer is almost here! 😂 6y

ReadingSusan @Cinfhen I didn‘t do it 😢 Halloween goes postal was my first attempt so it made me not want to do it again. But the person I bought for loved all of her stuff so that was good enough for me. I will probably do the next one. The worst part was that my match told me three times that she was sending my box and I never got it. It was disappointing. 6y
