There‘s this bookstore in the town that‘s closest to civilization from my home. I try to stop in when I‘m up that way bc she gives you an ARC with purchase. Did I need another copy of James?! No, but signed first edition?! I couldn‘t pass it up. My students are going to be JACKED to see Book 2 in the Coyote Sunrise series and I needed Book 2 of Shady Hollow. Bottom 3 are the ARCs I chose. How perfect is The Great River to go along with James?! 🤩

Not at all surprised to love this story just as much as the first. Enough back story given it could be read alone, but best suited as a follow up to The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise. To be surrounded by new and not-so-new-anymore friends who lead and guide from the heart, this story is one for all ages!

I love, love, LOVED the first Coyote book and this one was just as great. Coyote Sunrise is one of my most favorite characters of all time. She has the biggest heart and the best wit (for a 13 year old). Wally and Doreen were the right people to join the pod. In this world where children are being bombarded with sex, perverse ideologies, and absent fathers, this book is a cry from the walls for dads to step up and in. We have to engage. We are (outside of the heavenly Father) the role model for their future husbands. We have a direct effect on the course of their life. Be there. Fight for your daughter. Great resource for any dad.

I watched the movie on PureFlix. I cried. I have 3 girls. I'll take all the help I can get!

Took my sweet nephew to the library today, and we found several fun new books to read, including this great book from Eric Carle about fish dads. He loves Eric Carle books and immediately recognized the artwork! @sebrittainclark

I really enjoyed Sedoti's Tell Me What Really Happened, so I thought I'd try this book. It had my favorite type of narrative structure with interviews, emails, and news articles mixed in. However, I just couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to go along with the plot that a whole town would fall for an alien hoax, or that the parents of the teens didn't stop it once they knew. I bailed 1\u002 way through.

I picked this book up at the library on a whim. It turned out to be so good I bought a copy. It's now required reading for our family. The author does such a good job of presenting truth in a practical way to help equip parents to do their job.
