I‘m taking my fact of the day whiteboard duties very seriously this week.
Not sure who changed the poll… or who among the library staff thinks Jack Ryan is their best bet 👀

Day 234.
Here I will note 365 books (or as many as I will have before I get tired) that have shaped my taste in literature. No explanations, no reviews. Just the cover of the book.
I do not challenge anyone. You are all welcome to take part.
Day 19 Green My favorite book of all time from Dr. Seuss #WinterGames2021 #PhotoChalange #WishesandBlessings @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
I read green eggs and ham to my brother last night. I love and recommend this book because it's my brother's favorite book he practically knows it by heart! it's also a rhyme book!

It's not always good to be #Circumspect, but some characters surprise you in the end.
This wonderful rhyming picture book 📖 is about Sam I Am's attempt to convince the narrator to try green eggs and ham. Offering the narrator different locations and dining partners to try the delicacy. A wonderful NF/RA, repetitive story of trying something new hesitantly that may look or sound different but finding the new thing to be great.

This MF picture book was first published in 1960 and was birthed from the quirky mind of Dr. Seuss. Sam-I-Am really LOVES green eggs and ham, and so should everyone else! Unbelievably his new friend refuses even give the green eggs a taste. Not on a train, not even in the rain, can Sam-I-Am get his new friend to feel the same way as he does about green eggs and ham. RT is the teaching strategy for this rhythming picture book from Dr. Seuss.
This P., Dr. Seuss's classic book, is about Sam-I-Am trying to get Guy-I-Am to eat the green eggs and ham. Sam is convinced that they are the best things to eat anywhere. He mentions all the places that he could it until Guy-I-Am gets tired of Sam insisting that he finally tried them and loves them. This book is an outstanding selection to have in the classroom and use SR with the students. Students will love reenacting the story.

Green Eggs and Ham is a P book by Dr. Seuss. This story is about Sam-I-am trying to convince another character to try green eggs and ham. They go through different settings and adventures where they meet different characters while Sam-I-am keeps trying to persuade the character to try the green eggs and ham. In the end, the character in the story tries the green eggs and ham and loves them. #UCFLAE3414SP21

2. GR, LT, TSG, Netgally and other places if requested by publisher.
3. Illuminae. I would love to see the black cauldron, the dark is rising, and Eragon redone. If they can redo his dark materials and Percy Jackson. They can redo those.

1. The theme to the Batman TV series. I had it on a 45 and would run around the house with a towel as a cape ???
2. I'm thankful for a negative COVID-19 test.

We had a fantastic Books & Brunch baby shower today to celebrate my newest niece. Asa received so many books (and amazingly enough no duplicates) and has a fantastic library already!
Will Sam's friend ever try the Green Eggs and Ham? Green Eggs and Ham is a funny poetry book written by the amazing Dr. Suess and awarded the Caldecott Medal. This book would be best read aloud or through a fun storytelling.

Another classic children‘s book.
My mom is using this poem on the front of some reading bags for her students during this epidemic...I thought it was cute so I‘m sharing it here!!

I had so much fun with the preschool class. They are right across the hall from me, but I don't get to interact with them much.
When I was small, I could not get enough of Dr. Seuss books! Loved them all but I remember the tagged book as a particular favorite! The last time I read it was when my youngest was really little, so it‘s been several years. 😊

I'd definitely include this in my classroom library and I think kids would have a lot of fun reading it. It uses simple language, so it's perfect for beginner readers.
“Green Eggs and Ham“ by Dr. Suess, 1960. Poetry book. This is another one of my favorites growing up! I think this is a great book for introducing poetry to children. It has very simple, natural rhymes.
This book is about Sam I Am trying to convince the reader to try his green eggs and ham. The illustrations in this book are more sketched, just how Dr.Seuss‘s books are usually illustrated.
I would use this book in my future classroom, because it is a classic children‘s book that children have fun reading.
This book is perfect for any classroom because it is such a fun classic book to read.
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr Suess is a great book for kids to read. It contains fun rhyme as well as a funny story line. I remember reading this book when I was younger, and reading it again now just makes me love the book even more. This is a super fun book for kids to read and I highly suggest it.
I will definitely use this as a form of poetry for the children. This is perfect for Dr. Seuss day as well!
“Green Eggs and Ham” was written by Dr. Seuss in 1960 and is one of my childhood favorites. This classic form of poetry provides an enjoyable story about a man who does not enjoy green eggs and ham, until he tries them! I definitely reccomend!
#GratefulReads Day 15: Fats shared a list of #BannedBook(s) a few years back and yes it includes these two classics: one because the boy‘s private parts are shown and the other because of “homosexual seduction” and “early Marxism.” More here: https://wp.me/pDlzr-6sh
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss is a MF children‘s book that teaches kids the importance of trying new things. Who knows what you might end up liking... This book is perfect for a RA.

“I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-Am.“
I would read this book to kindergartners, 1st and 2nd graders. This is one of my favorite books. Its a great book for young kids to read. Most kids will find this book great and not even realize they are reading poetry.
This is a poetry book. This is one of my favorite books to read. The poems in this book definitely create a sense of sight and taste. The book really comes to life. You feel like you taste the green eggs and ham when reading the story.
