My least favorite book from Phoebe Wahl. This is about Sonya and her chickens. She did lose a chick and had to bury her but took care of the rest of the chickens so no other ones would die. Graphics were good. I just couldn't get into the story.

Last night I had a dream that @basecampbooksandadventure, a wonderful indie bookstore, only sold Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. You could pick a book of your choice and that was the book you bought. But when you exited the store every book you bought turned into Green Eggs and Ham.

Another read-aloud day done with the two UTK classes. It's hard to believe the school year is almost over!
When I read First the Egg with the first class, I took the dust cover off to show the different images underneath, and a student in front grabbed the dust cover. I got very anxious because I'm out of practice with retrieving tearable things from little hands, but it all worked out okay, and I learned a lesson for the second class.
My mom made me a new Hemingway pouch for Easter… I love it so much!

Since it‘s Easter, deviled eggs seem like the best response to today‘s #Devil prompt. I 💛 deviled eggs & this cookbook from my collection. 🥚💛🥚
