pickI almost started counting the times Tricia said Ethan wouldn‘t like that or that they‘ve known each other barely a year. It was so repetitive and annoying. All the gaslighting between Ethan gaslighting Tricia and Tricia gaslighting herself, ugh. But I love an unreliable narrator, and oh yeah this one is good. Book #24 in 2025
Start reading this book and January 31. I am almost done and I can‘t wait to finish it so I can start on another one.

Pulled out the old kindle … I have so many books in my online library….. not my favorite reading style, much prefer actual books but a change is nice.
Okay, fine, I accept that I couldn't guess a McFadden twist if my life DEPENDED on it. They're too wild!! I'm always shocked and laughing by the end of her books. They're so out there... and I love them!

Of course not, but when I tear quickly through a story, consider its palate-cleaning purpose served. McFadden is pretty reliable for a rapid read. I had fun trying to figure this one out. #kindleunlimited
pickWhile this was still plenty twisty I didn‘t enjoy it quite as much as The Boyfriend. The main couple were annoying for much of the book - the guy was a gaslighter and the girl acted pretty dumb. The last 1/3 was much better and saved it overall for me. This author definitely knows how to shock!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

pickTricia and Ethan head out to see a showing for their potential forever home. What happens when stuck inside after a snowstorm strands them is anything but shocking. The twists and turns made me need to find out what was happening! I annotated this book in the beginning with my thoughts and boy I was off base! Good quick thriller about lies and deceit and the consequences. Characters did not have much growth and Tricia annoyed me but good read!

pickMy first time reading Frieda McFadden.
This was good! Very binge-able. A few things irked me (Adrienne is really stupid for an MD/PhD) the twists got CRAZY but it all worked.
