This book would be perfect except for my dislike of Christy. And she doesn‘t improve by the end haha. But I like Joel and I am glad he is part of the pack now.

Ash is feeling a little better today. He is back on steroids after waking up with very swollen eyes and hives yesterday morning. He wants to go on a walk right now though :p

This is my least favourite of the books. I despise Christy‘s brand of manipulation.
But it is still a good story so I shall persevere!

My work closed its doors last week but as a senior staff member, they've asked me to work security for the next month, which I'm OK with. Day shifts this week and night shifts for the next 4 weeks.
So yeah, getting in some reading while I can.

I love this series. I love that the characters develop in,this series. Things change and the choices they make in each book carry through the rest of the series. Mercy is a BAMF I love to root for. Her husband is a hottie werewolf. Her step daughter is becoming a BAMF herself and the rest of the characters are just as fun. Great plot, too. I immediately picked up the next one.

Love this series, returning to some favorite characters. They truly feel like family (to each other & to me). This has the usual paranormal dilemmas to solve (that walking stick is the gift that keeps on giving), and those were interesting. Some parts were a little sadder than usual, but the petty drama of Christy & Mercy balances it w/ a bit of humor & fun. A few things felt a little much, esp. near the end, but it was still super enjoyable.

I DID IT! #LitsyAtoZ DONE AND DONE. Now I just have like 5 book reviews to write on Goodreads and like 30 to copy to Litsy.

Finally on a reading roll. Might get to finish this before New Years!

This one definitely features one of the creepier bad guys! But he doesn‘t hold a candle to the horror that is Adam‘s ex-wife!(shudder implied) I applaud Mercy‘s self control in dealing with the woman. If it were me, I‘d‘ve killed her! This is a fantastic book and I‘m excited to dive into the next! 14 books and counting into my Mercy-verse reread and I still can‘t get enough of this world!

Although I do life that Mercy is growing as a person, it almost feels like there author has almost become resigned to a specific template that must be followed in each book.

I'm cutting out mustaches for the "I mustache you to check out these books" book display I'm making at work. I love my job.

Coyote‘s road had looked and smelled exactly as I expected—but real life doesn‘t do that. Real life is full of surprises, big and small.

Love means leaving yourself vulnerable, knowing that there is someone to catch you when you fall.

Number 8 in the Mercy Thompson series. Still excellent, still worth reading the series in order.

Another good installment of Mercy's adventures. Adam's ex-wife figures prominently in this one and is a bit cliched, but there is another unique and scary monster (other than her 😂) to deal with. Enjoyed it! #romantsy #osrbc

Now to catch up with Mercy and Adam! I'm three books behind on this one and the newest book Silence Fallen is out today!

This is a good addition to the series and a fun read. I enjoy that Mercy and Honey finally start to develop a relationship and we finally start to catch up a bit with the vampires. New characters are introduced and old characters are given some more background and development. 4/5 stars. Read if you like kick ass heroines who protect those they love

An amazing addition to the series, I love this book! The bad guy is truly terrifying.There are times when I want to just slap Adam's ex-wife senseless! (Mercy has way more dignity and self discipline than I think could muster in a similar situation!) and everything culminates in a satisfying conclusion. Fantastic read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

This is definitely my least favourite in the series... And it can be summed up in 1 word - Christy. I see where Briggs was going with this, but I really do not get why Adam let her walk all over Mercy and treat her like crap... Normally he's so protective of her and now all of a sudden he doesn't care?! And I don't get how practically the whole pack was fooled by Christy's bullshit manipulations. It made me think less of Adam and I hate that.

Time for some Mercy 🙌🏻
