Someone please remind me when I‘m doing next month‘s #BookspinBingo board to not be extra with the background for my individual Bingo squares. I just can‘t resist when it comes to glitter. 🤦🏻♀️

Managed to eke out four #BookspinBingo lines this month. I had one bail and one hibernation. None of these were 5⭐️, but my center square (Burnt Shadows by Kamila Shamsie - review later today) came pretty darn close and was my only 4.75⭐️ this month! Thanks for sending it @BarbaraBB 💜💜
February #BookspinBingo is looking great! I started reading Walking the Americas yesterday, but I haven‘t gotten far. I‘m feeling a bit better with my cold, and I‘m very glad my Covid test came back negative!!
I never know whether to count books I finish on the 1st in that month or the prior one. 🤔 So I guess The Passenger, a surprise hit, squeaks in here. Six bingos and one of my best print months ever! Louise Erdrich was a hit and so was Kent Haruf. Can‘t wait to read more from both! #BookspinBingo
#12BooksOf2022 @Andrew65
My favorite book of June was this graphic novel about two ladies who get a second chance at love.
Honorable mentions to The Kite Runner graphic novel. Very good story, but again, I just can't say that human suffering is my favorite.
Four bingos and quite a few print books read (for me at least)! Really great end to the year. #BookspinBingo
Highlights: Jollof Rice and Other Revolutions, Signal Fires, and Babel
Only one bail: Young Mungo
Ready to go! #BookspinBingo I never end up getting the bingos I initially plan, but I started Three and Certain American States yesterday, and they happen to be together on the same row with my #bookspin. Maybe a point of attack…🤔
I finished 13 print books in November, put one in hibernation, and read my four short stories. Good month despite my end-of-year slowdown! At the end of the month, I was purposefully avoiding getting a bingo. 🤣 #BookspinBingo
Six bingos! I ended up choosing my last few reads to get this board. 👍🏻😁 Overall, a great month! #BookspinBingo
Top books:
Brother, I‘m Dying 5⭐️
Home Fire
This Must Be the Place
Nobody Gets Out Alive
I loved playing #bodycountbingo while doing #Scarathlon2022, and I managed to get two bingo lines too. Thanks to @puddlejumper for hosting!
#TeamMonsterMash @StayCurious
Excited by my November #bookspinbingo choices! There are quite a few really long choices on the list so I probably won‘t get into many but I‘m still excited 😆!
Proof 4 bingo cards. Black lines are new bingos. Orange are last week.
#teammonstermash #scarathlon2022 @StayCurious
Here‘s my card for October! I just finished up Nobody Gets Out Alive from the National Book Award longlist, and it was excellent. Not sure where I‘ll go next… 🤔 Gotta walk Molly before more reading though! #BookspinBingo
Excited for this month! I just finished Best of Friends (LOVED IT), and my #bookspin right next door (Mercury Pictures Presents) so that‘s up next. Have a great weekend y‘all! #BookspinBingo
Four bingos this month! I had a fantastic month for print book reading (finally) and topped out over 5000 pages! 🥳🥳🥳 #BookspinBingo
Invisible Circus by Jennifer Egan was my only 5⭐️ this month. I love that I had time to read seven fantastic short story collections, too. Plus we wrapped up the inaugural #CampLitsy. 🏕 Bring on Fall! 🍁🍂
A day full of tedious data entry & decision updates means a creativity break was in order. I finally made my August #bookspinbingo board. Thanks to #WomenInTranslation month, my theme is loosely "travel" but it's starting to feel more like "Get me out of here, I want to go anywhere & everywhere".?
@TheAromaofBooks
When it rains it pours…my root canal went well today, and my nerve pain is gone. I‘m just a bit sore, so yay!! 🎉🎉
BUT…our freezer stopped working tonight. 👎🏻👎🏻 HOWEVER we have a wonderful neighbor with room in her freezer, 💜💜 AND I was really good at Tetris, and the skills are still there so it all fit! 🎉🎉
Long story short…I finally finished my #bookspinbingo board! 😂😂
#Julywrapup After many months got a bingo!
📚2 books for #AuthorAMonth2022
📚 3 books for #Seriesread2022
📚2 books for #Nonfiction2022
Finished both #bookspin and #doublespin
Good reading month 😊. Best book of July is Where the crawdads sing.
This wasn‘t my best month for print books, but I did manage one #BookspinBingo and finished both my #bookspin and #doublespin, so I‘m pleased. 👍🏻 There were two 5⭐️ books: Tomorrow & Tomorrow & Tomorrow and Heartbroke!
Waiting on #botm to drop to put out my August list. ⏰
Finally getting my June recap together. I read eight planned books plus my March #doublespin Split-Second Courage, smut thanks to Vi Keeland's Bossman, The Kite Runner graphic novel, and the tagged graphic novel. I am convinced November & December might just be me finally getting to the BookSpin & DoubleSpin books I've neglected.
#bookspinbingo @thearomaofbooks
Excited for this summery board! (I wish there were more hibiscus in Kentucky.)
Very fortuitous that the two #CampLitsy reads are in the same column (middle). Going to try for my first bingo there…I‘m also in the middle of Ghost Lover, which is short stories… 🤔🤔
Idk, I‘ll see where the month takes me! #MoodReader #BookspinBingo
My July #bookspinbingo list! I‘m breaking down some books to feel more accomplished. It motivates me to keep going, lol @TheAromaofBooks
June 📚
#BookspinBingo #Doublespin
@TheAromaofBooks
No bingo, but glad to have some completed books in June.
Based on a spectacular sprint last week and a pretty decent final few days, I managed 4 bingos! I still have three reviews to write, but they‘ll come.
Btw, I‘m loving the DFW snapshots for meeting my IJ reading goals. May do it again next month. 😉🤣
Thank you for running this awesome event every month @TheAromaofBooks !! You are deeply appreciated! 💜
This is a nice sapphic graphic novel. About 2 women who grow together, move apart, and then find each other in later life.
A great series with heart.
This was a May Bonus Borrow from Hoopla and since I tag it often for #BookSpinBingo, I felt obligated to give it a read.
Hazel & Mari meet in a NJ school in the 1960s. This graphic novel takes us through the story of their forbidden love. It's sweet & hopeful, if a bit too short and tidy. A quick read perfectly suited to Pride month.
June book 1 for a free space on my #bookspinbingo board & the #BigJuneReadathon @TheAromaofBooks @Clwojick
So, a couple nights before the June BookSpin numbers were announced, I pulled five books from my list, planning to start one of them early. Two of those five ended up as my #BookSpin (Waterland) and #DoubleSpin (The Book of Speculation). 🎉 This looks like a great #BookSpinBingo board—lots of books I‘m excited to dive into!
My June #BookSpinBingo board!
#BookSpin is Saving CeeCee Honeycutt
#DoubleSpin is Sharks in the Time of Saviors
@TheAromaofBooks
I can't believe it's June already. This means another birthday for me...eek!
Anyhow, here is my #bookspinbingo board for June.
My #bookspin is Can't Look Away by Carola Lovering and my #doublespin is Just Like Mother by Anne Heltzel, which I'm currently listening to.
@TheAromaofBooks
Happy #bookspinbingo day, everyone! I‘m feeling hopeful for a bingo! 🤞
#bookspin is Tiny Beautiful Things
#doublespin is Hillbilly Elegy
2 nonfiction selections this month! Guessing I will try to listen to both on audio 🎧
Thank you to our fearless bingo leader, @TheAromaofBooks ! 🙌
I got a jump start this morning by finishing Good Eggs, a fun Irish comedy, but I don‘t see any super clear paths to a bingo. It may end up being a 1-2 bingo month. Or even a no bingo month! I‘m starting with The Idiot next (in prep for August‘s #CampLitsy), so at least that‘s in the same column. 👍🏻
Thank you so much @TheAromaofBooks for running #BookspinBingo each month! 💜
I almost forgot to post May‘s #bookspinbingo board!
I made my page goal all four weeks for IJ, bailed on one book, and completed 14 others. Great month!
My list for #bookspinbingo JUNE!!!
A few carry-overs, quite a few new releases, one re-read on audio, and at least one book that's been on my TBR for a while now. Not a bad list...
@TheAromaofBooks
My May #BookSpinBingo board. I think I might actually get a Bingo this month! 🤞
#Bookspin is Five Quarters of the Orange
#DoubleSpin is Jane of Lantern Hill
Thanks for hosting, @TheAromaofBooks !
If I put my May #bookspinbingo card out in the Litsy universe, surely I‘ll someday get a bingo, right!?! Love the challenge every month!
I‘m away so wrote my may list before I left ; April I managed 5 reads from my bingo list 🙌
@TheAromaofBooks
#bookspin #doublespin
#maybookbingo 😆
#bookspin no 5 the long view by Elizabeth Jane Howard #doublespin 20 The soul mate equation
#mayreads
#bookbingo
@TheAromaofBooks thank you ☺️Sarah
My board! I love it when most of the free spaces are in a row because I either use them all OR I mostly stick with my TBR, so hopefully I can get a few bingos this month either way. 👍🏻
Thanks Sarah!! #BookspinBingo
Here's the #BookSpinBingo card! First, I put our official numbers (5 & 20) back in the mix. Then I drew them all out & wrote them down as I went, meaning the official numbers are just mixed into the card with the rest! As you can see, 21-25 are both labeled with their numbers & also as free spaces, so you can use them to match however you wrote your list. To score a bingo, just read books (in any order) that are in any row or column!! MORE INFO ⬇
