As with most anthologies this one had some wonderful “hits” and a few “misses” for me, but overall I think this is a pretty good snapshot of that particular moment in time, and includes a range of responses very similar to those found online during the social media deluge of women telling their truth loudly and clearly all at the same time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book addresses a very important topic, and I think it‘s great that it‘s being sold at cost (free on kindle 👍🏽) to make it more accessible to people. However, it does feel like it was kind of just thrown together and it could have used some more editing. Still, given the importance of the subject matter, and the fact that it‘s free, I‘d still suggest giving it a shot.

This is the first non-TBR book I read this year, and I'm not sure it was worth breaking my streak. The subject matter is important, but there isn't much new here. This was a nonprofit publication. It could have used another pass through editing for all the typos I found. Some of the essays were poignant and thought provoking, others were predictable. It's important to keep the convo going and listen to each other. #PrimeReading

15 hours of flight time left me with plenty of uninterrupted reading time. This was a collection of essays from both men & women who are finding their voices to share their experiences in the #MeToo movement. Not easy reading but vital. Left me feeling more depressed than refreshed. I fear this awakening has a long way to go😢Book is still available for free on Kindle. It‘s a pick because it needs to be read but not every essay was well written.

DGRachel I downloaded it (hey, when Trish says get it, I get it!), but I don‘t think I‘m ready to read it. 😩 You would think during “Women in Construction Week” when executive management hold special meetings with the women in the company and act surprised about issues we deal with all the time, one‘s misogynistic project manager would hold his tongue, but no...(sorry...still mad 36 hours later apparently) 5y

On #InternationalWomensDay, I am sitting here while the snow falls, reading the tagged book and drinking out of my "pussy" cup. Also trying to catch up from the last few days...

Side note - I hate the transitional period when kids start daycare and get sick with all the things. Poor LO was up most of the night with stomach issues. Hence my wild look ?? She seems to be better this morning, so I'm hoping it's over and done with.

Very interesting book & it's given me more insight into feminism even though all the contributions are from Americans. The best essay has to be Katherine Ramsfield's entitled 'Tit for Tat'.

This collection of essays is free on ereaders. I've only read two so far, and want to continue, but also need a break. It is not easy to read, and I am grateful to the authors who are telling the stories.
