@RadicalReader left a comment asking about my #toptenof2017 so here we go.This is Bks2-10 in my top ten(reading left-right each row).I‘ve stayed with books that were published in 2017,though I was tempted to add a few earlier books.Half are Crime/Thrillers,1 magical realism, 1 fantasy, 1 SciFi, 1 YA & 1 very sweet graphic novel which is about the authors grandparents & the love they had. My top book of 2017 is next up.

RIP Tosca.
We had to put our girlie down last week. She was only 10, but she got sick in September. We were told we'd have a year, but she only made it two days beyond Christmas.
She was the best cat.

GlassAsDiamonds @SandyW oh they are aren‘t they? I do some work in animal rescue and wondered how on earth one ever “got over” them until I read a lovely piece saying that you never do, in time you just take that love and make sure another animal feels it as well. ❤️ still, many hugs (including from Puff who would grumble but I tell her it‘s her job 😊). 6y

hgrimes I‘m so sorry she passed. I just had to put my girl down too in September and know the heartbreak. I hope you and your other kitty are doing ok and hanging in there. 6y
SandyW @hgrimes Thank you, and sorry for your loss as well. It's the worst part of pet custodianship. (We did home euthanasia this time, it was so worth the extra cost.) Her brother has been exceptionally clingy which actually helps us emotionally. I hope you are surviving your heartbreak. 6y
