Our #VirtualTour of Scotland continues with our travels round the very remote corner of the North West corner of Scotland, including taking in Cape Wrath high is the most westerly point of Scotland.

How has Tuesday been for you today?

BookwormM Busy back to work and actually had a full day of stuff to do. I do love a lighthouse. How is your break going? 4y
Andrew65 @BookwormM Not that great today, seemed to spend a fair part of today answering and responding to emails related to school, nature of the job and times. Did fit some reading in between them though. Can‘t go wrong with lighthouses and castles! 4y
See All 76 Comments
BookwormM Ahh yes castles I think we have probably visited all the castles in England and quite a few in Wales . Sorry you are not getting a proper break. 4y
TheBookHippie Ahhh can almost smell the sea!!!! Grandson ate breakfast on my porch I was inside at table... otherwise my day Blech 😫🤣🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️👦🏼💙better luck tomorrow 🤷🏽‍♀️ hoping same for you Andrew! For me it‘s lockdown day 33. 4y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie For us lockdown day 22! The biggest weakness in the UK approach was not going into lockdown sooner. 🤞 there will be less interruptions tomorrow but do doubt it. Goes with the times we are in. I‘ve had a tougher day today all round too. On this rollercoaster of emotions tomorrow will likely be better. What I‘d give for the smell of the sea and a bag of chips! 4y
Andrew65 @BookwormM One year we set out to visit 100 castles in the U.K. Love the north-west corner of Wales for impressive castles Thanks 🤞 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 Love today‘s pictures! How many castles did you visit? I‘m having a good day. Got my reading mojo back and been listening to my audio of The Gallows Bird ? or The Stranger by Camilla Läckberg. Only have 3 more hours to finish. Had my lunch at my picnic table. Little chilly but sunny high 55 today. Hope everyone has a better day tomorrow. In my mind today, I haven‘t really thought about the virus! What virus? I was outside! 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB Took us two years trying but did get to the 100, following a lot of research.Great to hear you‘ve got that reading mojo back, it is such an important part of us and helps balance us and will help us cope with this situation. Nice and sunny here today, but still a touch on the cool side.Better if we can park it because doesn‘t help us to keep thinking about it and can‘t change anything. 4y
CocoReads It‘s freaking snowing! 😬 but the day wasn‘t awful. Wasn‘t great, wasn‘t horrible. I rolled my ankle again this morning taking a shortcut down the grassy hill. But now I know how I did it last week. I work tomorrow and then I have a day off because I‘ll be working this weekend. 4y
Andrew65 @CocoReads Snow! 😱 Ouch nothing worse than turning over on your ankle. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day for you before you get a break. (edited) 4y
ValerieAndBooks It‘s been rough. Long story short, Daughter‘s girlfriend‘s close relative passed away from Coronavirus yesterday. As you can imagine there‘s a lot of grieving. I feel helpless and so ready for all this to be over. It means a lot that you keep checking in with us. 4y
Andrew65 @ValerieAndBooks I‘m so sorry to hear this, really impacts when so close to home. When will this be over!!! Then you wonder why people keep calling to reopen things, this is the reality of the situation. Sending best wishes and in my prayers. 🙏 💓 4y
tdrosebud I love seeing the pictures you post everyday. 🙂 4y
TrishB I was back at the work and something major I thought would have been sorted whilst I was off wasn‘t ☹️ so I‘m still doing that. First day at home everyone seems to be having a bad day at the same time, emotions ❤️ I hope you manage a break tomorrow Andrew. Some days are mentally tortuous. 4y
TrishB @ValerieAndBooks so sorry to hear 💔yes, so ready for all this to be over. Sending hugs. 4y
Andrew65 @tdrosebud I hope they help giving people something to look forwards to. 4y
Andrew65 @TrishB Thanks, that‘s the problem, if we don‘t do it then either it‘s not done or not done properly! 🥵 Hope you have a better day tomorrow, and agree emotions are going through a ringer daily at the moment and that can be both exhausting and depressive! We need some good news. 4y
IamIamIam Good thing I brought my bathing suit! 🧜‍♀️ Beautiful photos! Today was productive! The electrician came to patch up. Some spots and hopefully solve this problem. 3rd time's a charm! Got the bathroom done, changed some sheets... I feel like a person today! How's everyone else's day going? Mermaid hugs to all today! 🤗 4y
IamIamIam @ValerieAndBooks Hugs to you during this difficult time. 💓 4y
Andrew65 @IamIamIam perfect settings fit using that bathing suit! Good to see you could get someone out at this time. Sounds a very productive day! 😊👍 (edited) 4y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 @CocoReads snowed here too 😳 4y
TheBookHippie @CocoReads hope your ankle is okay! 4y
CocoReads @TheBookHippie it‘s ok-a little sore but nothing like last week (edited) 4y
TheBookHippie @ValerieAndBooks so sorry. It‘s all just too much ... 4y
tracey38 Today wasn't the best day. We got a email early today starting that we may get rotated to the ED to work if needed (like @JanuarieTimewalker13 mentioned a couple days ago was happening to their staff) in the next few weeks. A d we can't decline or we get written up or worse. But again, I work with cancer patients! Why would they want us working in the ED a d then going back like the next day or two and working with our cancer patients who are... 4y
tracey38 Immunocompromised! That makes no sense to me. And it makes me mad, quite frankly. Plus we got some other stupid emails about having to be "physically distant" from coworkers at work. It's all just a mess. My anxiety is high, and my patience is low. And it's only Tuesday... ?? And I haven't been able to catch up on Litsy because I just come home, shower, read, and go to bed. But I am loving the Scotland pictures! 4y
Andrew65 @tracey38 As I said with @JanuarieTimewalker13 this is just total madness, rife for cross infection on patients who should be being shielded. I just cannot believe people are making this decision! Even worse that this is done by email. Sending best wishes and positive thoughts. 🥰 4y
tracey38 Oh, and we had our highest number of deaths today in NC related to this virus, yet on the same day had Covidiots out protesting about the state mandated closing of everything non-essential! 4y
tracey38 @Andrew65 I'm sorry you didn'thave much of a break today. Hoping tomorrow is better! @CocoReads I'm so sorry a out your ankle! Ouch! I hope it feels better soon, especially with you working this weekend. @ValerieAndBooks oh, I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. 💔 That is just heartbreaking. Many hugs to you all. 4y
CocoReads @tracey38 that makes no sense! So@e of our nurses are being rotated around. Some up to the covid hospital and back to ours (which is still blessedly covid free as far as we know). Idk-so@e of these decisions make no sense to me. And that‘s the policy at ours too. Refuse reassignment-get 3 days off unpaid to reconsider. If you still refuse that‘s your voluntary resignation 4y
JacqMac I have so much anxiety today. I seems to come in waves. At least the good days are outnumbering the bad. So far. 4y
JacqMac @ValerieAndBooks So sorry. It‘s really hard when you start losing people you know. It‘s so much more real. 💕 4y
JacqMac @tracey38 That is so crazy! Makes you wonder about the people making these decisions. 4y
GHABI4ROSES Not being as powerful today, but I want would you all to forgive yourselves, so I have to... for now, is that little hut (last column, middle photo) available for hiding? Maybe a Hobbit in there? Give him my number! @Andrew65 @SquidgetsRoom @Lesanne 4y
TheSpineView Love the pictures! Still no internet. Thankful for my smartphone. However my horse got spooked by the storms and fell. Skinned him up on his right side and he is stiff. No broken bones or damaged tissue so that is good. Had to give him light exercise to help with the soreness. Poor thing. 4y
GHABI4ROSES @tracey38 bless your heart, looks like you need an IQ Helmet: my kids and I wear those to avoid our IQ POINTS spilling out when we encounter people like that. Ridiculous, that kind of pressure will cause premature openings, then Bam. 4y
GHABI4ROSES @TheSpineView a horse injury is scary, thank God he is UP. 4y
GHABI4ROSES @ValerieAndBooks sending love squeezes and peace pieces. 4y
TheSpineView @GHABI4ROSES IK! Lucky! It could have been so much worse! 4y
GHABI4ROSES @TheSpineView I had a thoroughbred colic about 20 years ago; I was 8 months pregnant, slept in the barn with him, to walk him periodically. Oh, if I could be a fraction of the woman I was then, lol. 4y
DieAReader @CocoReads @TheBookHippie a bit of ❄️ here & ❄️🌧 mixed precipitations any time. Very strong cold winds here. @ValerieAndBooks my thoughts & 🙏🏻 are with you all. @GHABI4ROSES count me in! 📚 I hope your day is better tomorrow @Andrew65 🥰 4y
GHABI4ROSES Yes, @Andrew65 you need to allow yourself a GENEROUS grace period for adjustment. 4y
DieAReader A friend stopped by quickly this morning to go over something she‘s designing (on a shirt for a family member of mine). We stayed distant & no hugging🥺 She is also immunocompromised (Like Kevin) & therefore we‘re always careful (even more so now). I ventured out to a smaller store for milk (as usual). We‘ll be doing some meal planning (croc pot recipes🧐)in the next couple of days so I can grocery shop effectively. 4y
Lesanne @GHABI4ROSES Must be something in the atmosphere as I‘m having a bit of a rough day, emotionally. Work stuff mostly. But to get past this we‘ve got to go through it! 🤗 4y
TheBookHippie @tracey38 ours are protesting tomorrow huge numbers of deaths here today we rank third in the nation here in Michigan 😭 4y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @tracey38 oh dear, I know this is so hard. I can‘t even imagine being in the medical profession right now. I saw a video on YT where a doctor said he has never seen so many hospital employees having meltdowns bc they are doing so much and they are also giving messages from loved ones to the sick bc they are alone. Take some time just for you, whenever you can and remember you are a hero🌻❤️ 4y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @tracey38 I‘m really furious over this rotation business...why would they rotate nurses from immuno compromised patients to the ER!!! Why not take staff from orthopedic floors where the elective surgeries have been cancelled? Unless they are so short handed they‘ve gone through that staff already? 4y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @tracey38 oh no Tracy!! I hope you don‘t have to do that!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 4y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks After reading this I have absolutely nothing to complain about... I pray for everyone 🙏🏻🙏🏻 4y
kezzlou85 Wasn't the best day but then I have nothing really to complain about. Just felt anxious for much of it. 4y
Andrew65 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I‘d agree and say the same. @kezzlou85 4y
Andrew65 @JanuarieTimewalker13 I second this and agree, total heroes. 🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️ 4y
Andrew65 @JacqMac It does make you wonder about the people making their decisions, where are their brains at! 4y
Andrew65 @GHABI4ROSES Think that hut is the perfect place to get away from it all. 4y
Andrew65 @SquidgetsRoom Good luck with your meal planning. 😊 4y
Andrew65 @Lesanne This thing has our emotions and resilience all over the place, like a rollercoaster ride! 4y
Andrew65 @JacqMac Totally agree about it coming in waves, hopefully today will be a better day for you. 4y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie Any sign of Michigan approaching the peak or levelling out? 4y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 not yet ... it more than doubled yesterday. 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick More beautiful pictures that showed me to escape my apartment for a few minutes... thank you! My day was fine and my guy went good shopping so we are set for at least 10 days unless he goes through snacks & drinks. I had lots more busy work for my job, but I get to do it from the safety of home, so I can't complain. I hope those of you in healthcare remain safe & healthy. You are ALL in my thoughts. May Wednesday be a better day! 💖 4y
tracey38 @andrew65 @CocoReads @JacqMac I don't understand how the people in charge, who are supposed to so smart, come up with this stuff. 4y
tracey38 @GHABI4ROSES IQ Helmet, I like that term! I'm going to start using it now. 😉 @TheSpineView That is so scary, your poor horse! I love horses and used to love going on rides since I was young. I am so glad it wasn't worse and no breaks! @TheBookHippie yes, our numbers of confirmed and deaths keep going higher and higher. It's so scary. And there are people who just don't get it! I don't understand how their brains work... 4y
tracey38 @JanuarieTimewalker13 I've heard specialists say online and tv that at the end of this, many in the front lines of the medical field, maybe other fields that are essential too, could end up with serious PTSD from this. @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I know!!! 😫😫😫 I hope not either!!! 4y
TheBookHippie @tracey38 I‘m telling you ... just boggles the mind. Today‘s numbers didn‘t look much better ... all this snow 🥶 crazy! 4y
tracey38 @TheBookHippie wow, snow! We had an 80 degree day Monday. Then overnight tonight we have a frost warning! 🙃 I woke up today so stuffed up, my body doesn't know what season it is. Apparently, neither does mother nature. 😆 4y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @tracey38 I can see that happening sadly... it‘s like a war!! 💔💔 4y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @tracey38 No doubt, it‘s heartbreaking to walk into rooms and your patients have died without family. The stress is real. This is EXACTLY why I couldn‘t be in the medical field. It‘s funny how a number of Beta Thal Majors ended up as nurses, but I was so burnt out on the hospital scene from birth, and many of my friends dying, I couldn‘t. I chose Finance, another crazy stress job, but no one dies from a stock trade. Thank you for what you do❤️ 4y
Andrew65 @tracey38 Neither do I! 😡 4y
Andrew65 @tracey38 Should already be strong counselling support in place for everyone! Now! (edited) 4y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 yup commented early but deleted it since it upset Eadie I‘m so upset there are no words numbers climbing even higher today in cases and deaths . 4y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie I respect everyone‘s right to demonstrate but surely don‘t congregate and protest at this time. There are other ways to get your views known. 4y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 EXACTLY. I am truly afraid of the numbers that will now happen. 4y
ValerieAndBooks @Andrew65 @TrishB @IamIamIam @TheBookHippie @tracey38 @JacqMac @GHABI4ROSES @SquidgetsRoom thank you all for your kind words. Loss is always hard but seems more so with this. And also want to say, those of you who are health care workers are truly heroic 💖. 4y

Our #VirtualTour takes in the North West coast of Scotland, which is very remote but very beautiful, and well worth the effort to get there along the single track roads, great views. The view from the Durness Camp Site (Sango Sands) is the beach shown in the bottom two pictures.

How has your day been? Have there been positive aspects to the day? Or have you been overwhelmed by things? Hope those of you in the storm areas last night are safe.

BookwormM Really tired today had to go for an afternoon nap at 14:30 and honestly could go to bed now and sleep. Back to work tomorrow which I am not looking forward to despite or because? Of working from home. 4y
IamIamIam Oooh, Smoo Cave looks awesome!!! 😍 Today's weird... awful weather, I ran out to get water and found out that our electrical box has water in it AGAIN so my husband got in touch with the guy who installed it and repaired it last time. We'd had water leaking in for 3 years & it was replaced in December to find this today. 😫 Not ideal but not a fire hazard so that's a bonus. On to better and drier days!! 🌞 4y

Andrew65 Working from home is tough for a variety of reasons. Also find it tough to switch off and find no clear cut point between work and home. 4y
CocoReads Left work an hour early again. They‘re predicting our areas peak to be lower than previously thought but last longer in duration. I don‘t know if that‘s good or bad. Our CEO has the virus but think he‘s been discharged to recover at home. Came home to launder and shower and then discovered one of the dogs peed in the kitchen so that the puddle went under the fridge. So today has been both good and bad. How was your day @Andrew65? 4y
TrishB Quiet day, have ‘Sunday‘ sads now as returning to home office tomorrow!! 4y
Andrew65 @IamIamIam Smoo cave is very spectacular, must be the most remote tourist venue in the U.K.! It certainly seems to have been tough for many in the U.S. overnight, the last thing you all need after everything else going on. 3 years that is a long time to have a problem. You definitely need some better weather. (edited) 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 Nice beach pictures! Interesting cave! Had tornado warnings and lots of rain all day. Surprise, surprise! I got my food delivery today. Must have been waiting until after Easter. It was 11:45 am and I noticed the next delivery was for 2:00 pm so they started on my order right away. I had to add items by text message while Madeline did the shopping. Got 45 items and only 4 items were out of stock. I even got 12 rolls of TP. So good day! 4y
Andrew65 @CocoReads Good that hopefully you won‘t be overstretched but not good to last longer, and then the worry is for a second peak of lockdowns are eased to quickly - would make all the efforts so far wasted. France has just extended to 11th May, whereas Spain is starting to ease restrictions where still quite a high death rate - seems too soon. Not what you want to come home too, perhaps your dog is unsettled too. 4y
Andrew65 @CocoReads Today is the first day I‘ve tried to take away from work whilst one of the acting deputies has taken my position, she was given a week off last week, trying to give the other half of staff a week off this week. Still dialled in the our senior leadership meeting each day to 2.0 land responding to some emails. Can‘t leave it totally, but did feel a bit more relaxed today and best reading day in a while. The Readathon is helping. 4y
Andrew65 @TrishB Good luck for this week, I‘m trying to take some time off this week, but still taking part in the daily 2.00 leadership team and having to respond to some emails, but did feel a touch more relaxed. Trying to do a bit of gardening too to help. 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB Wow! 🧻 🧻 🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻 That will keep you going (literally 🤣) for a while; excuse the toilet humour, lockdown is obviously getting to me. Good news on the shopping, I will be trying shopping tomorrow. They are gorgeous and remote beaches. The cave is rather special too. (edited) 4y
DieAReader Slow to get started today & the weather is not helping. Overcast & the rain has started a bit. High wind warning in my area for the next day or so along with generous amounts of precipitation. Just trying to stay grounded today so I will be doing a bunch of reading & Litsy related things this afternoon/evening. Cheers ☕️ to books, family, health, friends & all frontline/essential workers. Stay safe everyone 🥰💖 4y
Velvetfur I love those cave pictures! Thank you for sharing all these lovely Scotland pics with us all, I'm getting educated 😊 Guess what I did today, I had a two-hour nap in the middle of the afternoon! I don't know what came over me, I just fell asleep, and I've done nothing physical all day so there was no excuse! Lazy sod, hehe 😂 4y
TheBookHippie Frustrated with idiots today ... 4y
Velvetfur @BookwormM Oh, you too with the mid afternoon nap! Mine was at 10 to 2pm, kinda similar time to yours! I wonder if there's something spiritual about 2pm on an Easter Monday that has made us 'recharge' in this way.....! Our just coincidence 😂 4y
Velvetfur @BookwormM *or* just coincidence 4y
LoveToReadLiveToRead Ah, we spent many a happy childhood holiday in Scotland, both coasts and have been to Smoo Cave. One of my favourite places from childhood that I need to revisit with my own kids one day is Achmelvich beach. So beautiful. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 4y
Velvetfur @Andrew65 I'm glad to hear you've had a bit of time off today, and I assume gardening was nice and relaxing for you 😊 Apparently we're going to have dry sunny weather this week so hopefully you can get some more time in the garden while we have the weather for it 😊 4y
Andrew65 @SquidgetsRoom Best to focus on reading and try to shut out the world at the moment, sending positive thoughts. 🥰 4y
Andrew65 @Velvetfur If you‘re tired best to have a nap. So much emotional drain on us at the moment so no surprise we are tired. Glad to see the pictures are helping. 🥰 4y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie Yes this is so easy to always be the case at the moment. 😡 4y
Andrew65 @LoveToReadLiveToRead We‘ll likely take in Achmelvich Beach in the next couple of days on the tour as we continue our anti-clockwise route through Scotland. Thanks for the hint. I agree it is so beautiful! 4y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 yup...people are protesting the shut down tomorrow and Wednesday at our state capital... 🙄 (edited) 4y
Andrew65 @Velvetfur Trying to do a little bit of time in the garden each day so that I get some time outside. Look forward to some more sun. 4y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie People are ridiculous, they keep talking about reopening schools here as doesn‘t affect young children as much. Have they not seen some have died. Alleging research saying 2 - 4% affect , rubbish research research, this will still be bare minimum of another 1000 people! Any what about staff having to risk themselves, and two mass congregations with parents at the start and end of the day! Totally ridiculous and small minded! 4y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie I personally feel it would be a bigger affect than this, and not have enough staff to open school anyway with those being shielded due to pregnancy or underlying health conditions. 4y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 selfish selfish me me me ...ugh I‘m just UGH!!!! 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 Look at this article about New York and some other states in my area are trying to go back to work and school. Crazy because the children can be carriers and take the virus home to grandparents:

https://patch.com/pennsylvania/bensalem/s/h2y75/nj-pa-join-regional-reopening-co...
(edited) 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB It‘s ridiculous as children can be silent carriers as asymptomatic or minor signs of it. Also 400 children, therefore 400 sets of parents that come through one narrow gate at the beginning and end of the day. Surely this is a mass gathering. Also young children have no understanding of social distancing, tell them then two seconds later together again. Also if meant to be two metres apart classrooms to hold 30 could have no more than 10. (edited) 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 They shouldn't rush this as you can be right back into a massive contamination in no time. Only the people who have had the virus should be allowed out of lockdown. (edited) 4y
Andrew65 Also need to consider staff‘s safety. If school reopened at moment would be down 6 or 7 teachers straight away due to Underlying conditions or pregnancy. 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB I‘m hoping the government have more sense. If I was asked / told to put in place something that puts staff at great risk I would consider resigning as would be morally and ethically wrong. (edited) 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 I think people should refuse to go back as it is their health that is being compromised. Only the people who have the antibodies should be let out of lockdown. If you rush it too soon then it may jeopardize schools opening in September. (edited) 4y
margreads Beautiful scenery. Our stay at home has now been extended until May 11 so we have at least another month. 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB If we rush it we undo all the time we have been in lockdown so far and will be looking at a LOT more deaths and those are going to be high enough already. Already over 10,000 in New York and above 11,000 in U.K. And unfortunately going to be a lot more before the end of this, even with lockdown. 4y
margreads While this long weekend was different from others it was the same in one way. I could happily have just one more day. 4y
Andrew65 @margreads It‘s going to take at least this across most countries. U.K. are due to review and announce later in the week. They are beautiful pictures and we need all the beauty we can get at the moment. 4y
Andrew65 @margreads 😂🤣😂 That‘s true! 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 I know your mom lived in London. Did she ever have an opportunity to go to Scotland? 4y
LiteraryinLawrence It‘s interesting that a lot of you have been sleepy today. Me too! It was rainy and windy and I slept in very late. I have to go back to work (from home) tomorrow and I guess I‘m dreading it a little. Our school is officially closed through the end of the school year (the announcement was made for all Pennsylvania schools a few days ago. I‘m glad to have the decision made). (edited) 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB No my mom hated to go away or leave the home. Can only remember two holidays during my childhood and both we came back from early, perhaps that is why holidays are so important to me. Although late in life she did go to Russia, somewhere she had always wanted to go to. 4y
Andrew65 @LiteraryinLititz A sensible decision and other countries need to follow suit! This is just such a draining experience for us all, and also affecting sleep at night so not surprised people are showing signs of tiredness! 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 Nice that she got to go to Russia. Although, she probably would have enjoyed Scotland and it is much closer than Russia. 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB Yes a real shame but always a home person. 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 Home is nice too! No matter where I go, I always find it's always nice to come home! 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB I always feel sorry to come home 😂 But fine once I am home. 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 That sounds normal to me. Sorry your holiday is over but good to be home too. 4y
CocoReads @Andrew65 that sounds like a pretty good day. As for the dogs, they‘re both old guys one is 13 and the other is 13+ (he‘s a rescue so we just don‘t know) so they‘re getting to be at that stage where if they don‘t go out in the morning they may not make it til afternoon and everyone here had to work today. 4y
CocoReads @TheBookHippie yes, I saw the protest set for Lansing. Idiots. We‘ll be in lockdown forever if people don‘t stay the eff at home. 4y
Andrew65 @CocoReads Can‘t complain too much about today although still points I have had to focus on work, but other than that shut myself away in reading. A great book helps. Must be difficult for both you and the dogs in that situation. 4y
JanuarieTimewalker13 Scotland is SO gorgeous...love the photos. Just sipping Hibiscus Tea and relaxing!!! 4y
TheBookHippie @CocoReads the orange ones peoples 🤦🏽‍♀️ good grief. I‘m in no mood. 😫 4y
CocoReads @TheBookHippie Me neither. 😬😡🤯 4y
tracey38 My day wasn't too bad. We had strong storms come through about 2 minutes after I got into work this morning. Many around us lost power and some areas had damage and possible tornadoes but we were spared except for some downed branches. Luckily they missed anything important. Love today's pictures. The cave is really cool! 4y
Andrew65 @JanuarieTimewalker13 Sounds good, and it is! 4y
tracey38 @EadieB wow, good for you! I still can't find to anywhere. I still have a out 5 rolls but oh my, if I run out!!! 4y
Andrew65 @tracey38 Given that start to the day, could have been so much worse. That cave is quite special! 4y
EadieB @tracey38 I put it on my list every time I order but this is the first time I actually got some! 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB Hopefully signs it is improving. @tracey38 4y
JacqMac Hubby and I are having a pj day before he has to work again tomorrow. Pretty relaxing. We also made pizzas. I‘m liking all the extra time we are having together. I guess I married the right person. lol 4y
JacqMac @CocoReads @TheBookHippie I used to live in Michigan. And I still have a lot of friends there. It‘s crazy to see what‘s happening there. 4y
TheBookHippie @JacqMac 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I just cannot 4y
GHABI4ROSES Today has been productive, I still have some tasks, but I feel like I am finally getting the To Do List back in the proper order! All of this while locked away in my Estrogen Bunker (three of my kids are girls/ women, so I am safer in here this week). 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick 😍Smoo Cave looks like a must-see! I was busy with work for about 11 hours, but it means I still have a job & paycheck so I am fortunate. There was quite a bit of rain and wind but all is well now. I have completed ZERO book reading today but hope to make it up later this week once things are a little more calm. Now dinner and TV time with my man & dog. Not bad for a Monday. 4y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks It‘s been a day Andrew... I hope you are good 💙 4y
TheSpineView I am terribly late. Yesterday morning we had a tornado about 3 to 4 kilometers from me. Lots of wind and I spent the day cleaning up fallen limbs and such in the yard. Power is back but no internet yet. Safe but a little spooked. The good thing is I listened to an audiobook while working and got in over 11 hours! 4y
Andrew65 @TheSpineView Glad to hear you are safe, I bet that was very spooky. That‘s a lot of audiobook time. 👏👏👏 Sending positive thoughts. 🥰 4y

I‘m reading this one for research, genealogy, and pure fascination. I do wish the historical stories of battles and anecdotes were more revealing and less scholarly. Hmm... looks like a few I‘d like to fictionalize.
