I really love how morally grey characters are. Maquin haven't got enough chapters! At the beginning of the book there were but then there weren't. I wasn't that invested in every pov.

This was again a dark story so not the easiest book to read. I would have loved to have a bit more action, like the previous book had.

This was again an epic book and worth reading.

Received three of the books I ordered today now waiting for the first book in this series 🤪📖

I'll tell ya what - everyday this week has been a double-shift except for today, I only work this evening. Finally, this afternoon I got some reading time in with this bad boy.

I have tomorrow off, then Christmas Eve is another double-shift, Christmas day off, then back to work boxing day.

The burnout is real. 🙈

The good news - tomorrow I finally get to see Star Wars. The other good news...this book is friggen fantastic! 🤘

I had books to take to the used bookstore for trade, plus a coupon, plus their January buy one, get one 1/2 off sale. Mom and I got all of these for less than $30. Today is a good day. 😂 #bookhaul

Has anyone read the series? Holy cow. Brutal and so so so good!! I finished the series about a month ago.

Onto book 3...still waiting for the plot to really take off. There are lots of battles and journeying in this series. I'm charmed by the characters, but getting juuust a tad impatient for something to really happen.

Not a bad series. Corban is very easy to like and it's a shame how stupid Veradis is. I'm about to start book 3.
