It's always great to have a story about things that happen after some big adventure.

This had a nice adventure and was light to read. I didn't really like how often POV changed. This had first person POV so it was sometimes hard to remember who was “I“ in some certain chapter.

The first 50 % was quite slow part and it felt like the story was going nowhere. Then there started to happen more and was more interesting to read.

I really love these characters and especially how many strong female characters there are.

This didn't have that many thrilling moments and this was dark but I would have loved to have more scenes with different creepy creatures like we had in the first book.

The ending was really satisfying and it rewarded I still would have loved this to be a bit shorter.

I liked main character and it was easy to root for her.

This was really atmospheric read and I really loved that. I also loved how there were crafted different horror scenarios. I would have loved to have more thrilling moments because atmosphere was perfect but there weren't that many scary scenes.

This had a nice solid plot and good amount of action. With contemporary genre represented less this would have been even more intriguing.

Not tagged book but it fits, anyways.

My father loves Brecht and keeps on quoting his poems. That's why I couldn't resist when I found this book free to adopt. I loved reading the originals of the parts I've heard since childhood.

No, Brecht doesn't write “beautiful“ poems. He uses a harsh language, dirty sometimes, because he writes about the dirty things of life: war, another war, hunger, the failure of humanking. Harsh, but readworthy.

Jari-chan Also, if counted correctly, I've finished the #AestheticallyMatched challenge by @Clwojick with his book. 1y

There was so much death but some of those felt almost beautiful and that made it so much easier to go through. I also cried. I just say that some villains are such a cowards! And how a crow can be such an amazing character?

I enjoyed so much and can't think when I would find the next series to take my heart like this.

TrishB I cried at this one too! A brilliant ending. 2y

Characters were likable and mature, there wasn't unnecessary drama in this book and I liked that.

This was really cozy to read but secondary characters felt a bit same. I loved how this had so many book lovers and I think the setting was maybe the thing I liked most.

This dragged a bit at some point but only slightly. I really liked how this ended and this was really sweet and entertaining.

Becky was at her worst and I disliked her so much. She was on vacation and didn't want to spend some time with her husband at all. She just wanted to do some shopping and was extremely impulsive: deciding suddenly to start a new hobby but without trying it first she just bought expensive equipments.

Setting was still awesome but I would have loved to get more details about surroundings.

I don't know why it was so hard to be invested in characters but it was. Characters felt too two-dimensional.

I loved the setting, era and politics. Story was interesting but because I didn't care about characters this felt too long. Or maybe pacing was a bit off. This just didn't feel thrilling to read and it is a shame because there were nice twists and I would have loved to be thrilled.

It was so nice that characters from the two first books met in this one. This book was a bit melancholic but also heart-warming. I liked how characters dealed with different problems in their lives and how they found solutions/balance.

I loved all characters, Joe was extremely likable and I also liked the secondary characters. Joe had some friends who were a really nice addition to the story.

I loved the setting as well so much! I don't know many things that intrigues me more than mystery combined with fairground.

There were some twists that I knew were coming. There were also some tiniest holes in logic.
