This book was incredible! Told with lush prose and captivating storytelling that makes you want to savor every word, Parting the Veil is a tale of love and secrets set against the chilling English countryside. Author Paulette Kennedy expertly weaves together swoony romance, a twisting mystery that'll keep you guessing, and a story so creepy you'll be afraid to turn out the lights - and yet you won't be able to stop turning pages! Highly recommend!

I blew through this amazing story in a few days because I couldn't put it down. It's voicey and hilarious, but also so full of heart. Lily is snarky and funny, and she fiercely loves her friends and family. I loved going on this journey with her through the ups and downs of being a bridesmaid in five weddings, dealing with bridezillas, mean girl bridesmaids, overbearing mothers, and a hilarious grandma. I need this to be a romcom right now!

Lies We Bury is a propulsive thriller that follows Missy Mo, who is trying to leave her haunted past behind but finds herself caught up in the hunt for a killer eerily similar to her own past. The present timeline will keep you guessing, but it's the chilling flashback chapters of her childhood in captivity with her mother and sisters that stick with you. Lies We Bury is a gripping suspense novel, but it's also a story about family and sisterhood.

As sweet as the title suggests but packing an emotional punch, Sweet Bliss is a heartwarming, swoony romance that will sweep you away and stay with you long after you turn the last page. You‘ll fall in love with Aaron, Julia, baby Jack, and all of Harper Landing, a cozy community where everybody knows your name. Bardsley has written a sweet page-turner, and I can‘t wait for her next novel!

I just finished I Don‘t Forgive You, and I loved it! Here's my review:

I Don't Forgive You is a gripping debut that grabs you from the first chapter. Main character Alexis deals with her past coming back to haunt her as an unknown attacker tries to destroy every aspect of her life from behind a computer screen. Aggie Blum Thompson masterfully adds in twists and a lot of potential suspects. I could not put the book down until I got to the end!

The Lockhart Women is a remarkable debut. It's the story of Brenda and her daughters, Peggy and Allison. With skilled prose, the author tells a captivating tale as we watch Brenda trying to pick up the pieces after her marriage falls apart, set against the backdrop of the 1990s OJ Simpson trial. The characters are so real with their flaws and vulnerabilities, and you are absolutely rooting for them all the way to the beautifully satisfying ending.

A gripping story of friendship, motherhood, and ultimately a woman coming into her own, #thebaddestgirlontheplanet is a must-read, with raw, honest looks at postpartum depression, marriage, and what it means to be "bad." Frese weaves an engaging tale with masterful prose, including impressive use of second person POV, all of which make this a stunning debut from a writer to watch!
