Pickpick

Lately the picks for book club have been good. I jokingly say if i read it you know its good. The story flowed nicely and i related with the characters. I laughed and definitely made me get the feels.

Another book club book. Definitely not what i was expecting, but that was what made it such a fun read.

A faster read than its 410 pages imply, but there were too many faults for me to give it high marks. But they would be impossible to share without spoilers. So, suffice it to say if you read to find out “what happened“ you might love this book. But if you read for beautiful prose or believable, fleshed-out characters, give it a pass. #bookclubbook

Kate was so relatable. I love her sarcastic nature and it seemed like I wasn't the only one. Things don't always go as planned, but sometimes that leads to very interesting surprises.

Had me hooked after the first couple of pages. I couldn't wait to see how they would come together in the end.

Nell Scovell has written for a lot of shows and her experiences were interesting. However, the parts of the book that I found most interesting had nothing to do with Hollywood rather it was her relationship with Sheryl Sandburg and writing for the White House Correspondents Dinner. #bookclubbook

So adorable and cozy! #bookclubbook

vkois88 This is one I want to read... I just haven't seen it in stores yet. The couple of times I've been to B&N, we make it through the children's section, through the collectibles, and then start to have a meltdown over all the things we can't buy. Oh, and then LO starts crying 😉😂 But yeah, I need to remember to look for it next time I'm there! They closed before I could use my 25% off coupon yesterday 7mo

This month's pick from my local book club. Never read a Patterson book. It kept my interest well enough. It was interesting seeing the killers perspective. There were plenty of twist, though at times i feel like it had way too many.

#bookclubbook which I finished only because of book club. I started skimming about halfway through. This is one of those books about nothing...it follows the lives of two girls through the years as they live and grow with the stigma of a father who murdered their mother. It showcases all the ways their childhood and past screwed them up and the ways in which they persevere. It seemed monotonous to me, with little of interest. I was bored.
