I thought I was going to DNF this book in the way it began. I found Marin so immature for her age and too whining. But after half of the book😳it turns to be a heartwarming/heartbreaking story. Two sister decided to go on vacation to reunite. They were close but due to their jobs they haven‘t share together as they used to. Sadie couldn‘t catch the plane on time and she would see Marin later. But things start to happen ⬇️
pickNo better way to finish this gem of a book written by my colleague than sipping coffee in my backyard with my favourite flowers starting to bloom.
I was anticipating an easy, breezy summer romance. I was not expecting to take an emotional journey through love, loss, and finding oneself perfectly balanced with sarcastic humour. I will not wait so long to read her 2nd and 3rd books! #readitfriends #makeintoamovie

pickI cannot believe it took me so long to read this book. Wow! This book was great. When I went into this book I was expecting a lighthearted romance. I was not expecting such a beautiful book. It had me laughing and crying. I will definitely read more books by this author.

pickThis book was an easy cute read until about 2/3rd through. Then it jumped from about a 6 to a strong 8 out of 10 for me. Loved the writing style and how connected I felt to the characters.

My library hold for this one came in. I hear it‘s good but a tear-jerker so I have to decide if I am mentally prepared for it. 🥺

It takes courage to carry on, courage to step outside your comfort zone, courage to let go.
pickThis was an incredible story of finding love, of oneself and in others. Yet the love between two sisters was the strongest of all forms of love. It is beautiful, though heartbreaking. The same went with the reality of how the love came up- though it was a nice slow burn
What hit me most is that I am the uptight oldest sister. My sister is the wild child with no fear. I‘ve watched her, just like Marin, go out in the world while I stay home #ouabc
This looks like fun. Basic synopsis tells a different story then what the cover is projecting - actually a tale of two sisters bonding after their mother‘s death. Although it does really get me in the mood for summer. Right around the corner it comes. I‘ve been falling recently for those sibling bonding tropes. Maybe since I‘m trying to reconnect with my own younger siblings? Family is everything.

pickDon‘t trust the cover on this one. It looks like a romcom but is actually a heartfelt women‘s fiction about choosing to live after someone dies. Lots of good sister relationship stuff. Really enjoyed this one though I cried!
pickI don‘t know if anything I say can do this one justice. The romance was a slow burning, tender love story that was secondary to the love story between sisters Sadie and Marin. It made me laugh and it ripped my heart out. Read it slowly...and with a box of tissues.
pickA sweet romance in the beginning and end, albeit very unrealistic. But the middle was more about familial relationships, sisterhood, and so much sadness. The story punches you deep in the belly and squeezes your heart. I was really excited for a light beach read, and that is not what this is. Be ready for all the emotions if you take this one on. I was already having an emotional week so really feeling down now. But this was a great story.
This is my I have a huge fear of shots and I have gotten 3 in the past 6 months book haul. A flu shot and my 2 covid shots so I thought I should treat myself to a Barnes & Noble trip this morning on my last day of Spring Break!
pickTo all the other books I have loved before, kindly push over and make room because Meet Me in Paradise is joining the crowd! After finishing a story have you ever wanted to crush it to your chest and never let it go? If not, then you don‘t get me, but it you have then you can understand what I mean when I say that I love this book. It was about beginnings, endings, and all the messiness and wonder that living life creates in-between.

This book truly captures the unending love between sisters, with gorgeous prose that transports you directly to paradise, and a captivating story that keeps you turning pages. I simply adored this book - it is a phenomenal debut! 💖📚✨
