Today is release day for Ready Player Two! I'm celebrating by doing a little audio knitting before work :) I just love Wil Weaton and his narration! Anyone else listening?

Trying out this whole social media thing again - I tried to give myself a break because reading (and documenting my reading) started to feel like a job. I started to feel like I wasn't reading because I enjoyed it, I was just reading because it allowed me to check off another box. So I'm coming back with a different mindset!
It's no surprise that I absolutely loved Ruth Ware, what does surprise me is that I had no idea she had another book out!
Happy Friday, Littens! I have been in one heck of a reading slump - starting 4 or 5 books without finishing them. But a little birdy told me that this weekend is an unofficial #24in48 so hopefully I can kick it! Loving this book so far!
The review of this beauty went up on the Blog yesterday! Definitely one of my new favourite books! Check it out at:

So.... after absolutely falling in love with Cass Green after reading In A Cottage In A Wood, this one left me just a smidge disappointed. The overall story was good, but I found that the first two thirds of the book were a slow burn and then everything happened at once after that. It was an entertaining read, just not the edge-of-your-seat thriller that I was expecting.
In a couple of months, boyfriend is going on a field exercise in the big city - so he's putting me up in a swanky hotel there for two nights! Can you say... READATHON?!
But... whaaa? *unrecognizable muttering* it's...over?
*hides under covers and sobs*
(Review to be posted)
I've decided that my goodreads reading challenge will be the age that I will be this June! But my real challenge is that I want to read enough books that, when stacked, they're as tall as I am! At 5'8" this will likely be no easy task, but I think it's a cute idea!
It's back to work for me today. Le sigh. The holidays always seem too short. But at least I have some time before I have to leave to have my heart ripped out of my chest by a hardcover. I've been putting off reading this last book in the series because I never want it to end - but it feels like the right time to see where the story wraps up.

Jinkx and Jade would like to wish everyone a very, merry, PIGmas.
Since I'm a sucker for retellings, this one will be my choice for my holiday reading! I'm also a sucker for all things Frozen related. Haha.

In true Ruth Ware tradition, this book really kept me on my toes. There were a few twists and turns that I really didn't see coming. The reviews were definitely mixed on this one, but I gave it 4 🌟s. The only thing that gets me a little is I feel like there were a few things left unanswered or wrapped up too neatly.
Since I put chilli in the crockpot last night, I have alllll afternoon to enjoy reading before I have to leave for work. Is this what being a grown up feels like? Hahaha
Doing a little audio knitting today, trying to finish a pair of socks for a friend for Christmas. :)
Holy Crap! I'm back! The blog is back! I MISSED YOU ALL SO MUCH!
I dug into this one yesterday, after having preordered it and totally forgotten about it. I'm about 50% of the way through and LOVING IT.
It's finally here!!! Can't wait to see how Emika deals with Zero in this one! Although, in all honesty, I will be so sad to see it end... #bittersweet
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I think that the plot was fresh and new - a murderous reality show is something that I've never seen come from a teen novel. And it's going to be a duology at least! Really looking forward to the next one!
Monday Morning calls for much coffee and a new read! Loving this YA horror so far!
Boyfriend is part way through his 16 hour drive home from Nova Scotia and we're under severe heat and thunderstorm warnings. So since I'm a nervous wreck (haha) no better time for a bit of a reading binge with some Big Tiki from Hop City Brewing! #ontariocraftbeer #worriedgirlfriend #bringonthestorm
Boyfriend is in his favourite store (home depot) so I'm spending some time in the car, digging into a new series!
Decided to choose a different kind of horror for book #3. I'm only a few chapters in and I've already had to pick my jaw up off of the floor a few times. This is crazy - and not in a good way!
This one was pretty good! The "big twist" at the end was a little bit predictable but overall I loved the story. Would recommend to a friend looking for a thriller.
Onto the next book! A nice bath, a yummy smelling candle and a little liquid courage as the sun starts to set!
Finished my first book of my own personal scare-athon. Although I didn't absolutely LOVE it, I'm giving it a pick. It wasn't the books fault that it just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The story was good, even if the main character was a wee bit flat in my opinion. Not a bad fluffy read though!
Since I am house/cat sitting this week, I've decided that being all alone in a big old farm house seems to be the perfect opportunity for some summer scares. Enjoying this one so far, even if it isn't what I expected it to be. 👻😱
Morgan Matson proves to me, once again, that she knows how to spin one hell of a summer teen contemporary. I loved following along with Charlie through all of the chaos and enjoyed the cameos of some well loved characters from her other books. Can't wait until next year!
Morgan Matson always has the best early summer teen contemporary romance! This beauty is NO exception and it's SIGNED! 😍😍😍😍
Finally got my hands on the second Sam and Remi Fargo adventure! Gotta enjoy my FUNemployment while I can!
I finally did it! This is the first book that I've finished in MONTHS. I don't even care that it was a reread. Douglas Coupland is a Canadian treasure and I'm thoroughly looking forward to expanding my collection of his work.
Feeling a little antsy today, so I've decided to sit down with some cold drinks and a book to binge read 💕😊📚🍹
Ah sunshine, summertime, and neuroscience 🤓
Book one of #readathon done and dusted! Uncle Rick does it again! There were a lot of parts of this book that made me laugh out loud (in a, thankfully empty apartment). On to the next in the series and then the third one out on Tuesday!!
A little over half way done book #1 and snuggling a loveable old cat. How is everyone doing out there? #catsoflitsy #trixie
It‘s finally here! With all of the packing and sadness that the last week brought, I am so ready to binge read the first two Trials of Apollo books in preparation for the third one to be released on Tuesday! Happy #readathon everyone!!!
Since today is my Friday, I think for my two days off I‘m going to do a self-imposed 24-in-48. I reallly want to finish the raven cycle before Dewey‘s 24hr readathon next weekend and it will be a great way to recharge and be antisocial after a tough week. Does anyone else host their own mini readathons when you want to cut down your tbr?
Here is my before-readathon tbr! I finally own the complete series (again - I lent my old copies of the first three to someone who never gave them back) and although the Raven King is the only one I‘ve never read before, it seemed appropriate to read the series in its entirety! Just over a week until #readathon !!
While the freezing rain/snow continues to rage outside, I‘m enjoying some time in Henrietta, Virginia. I love this series so much.
Once I get the chance to move Myst, I am all over re-reading this series so that I can FINALLY read the last one. And probably ugly cry. Because... feelings. #catsoflitsy #goingtofinallyfinishafreakingseries
I cannot even begin to express how much I loved this book. The chemistry between Sam and Remi Fargo is so seamless and as a team they are so freaking bad ass. I read a few reviews about how people found their reactions to danger to be “unrealistic”, but call me crazy - in adventure fiction I don‘t always want realism. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Spending a little time with Sam and Remi Fargo before bed. I didn‘t even finish ONE book in March (for SHAAAME) so I‘m hoping to remedy that in April! Glad to see everyone back after the blackout. I missed my Littens!💕 Time to continue this adventure 🚁🚤🚘🍷
My order came in just in time! It‘s going to be a very Clive Cussler Easter for this Wordnerd!
Dinner and a book! I finally pulled out my poor, forgotten and unloved cookware - and sliced my finger open lol totally worth it though. I wonder if the camp food at Shadow Falls is as good as these fajitas! 🤔
A lovely LUSH bath bomb courtesy of my sister! Pretty sure my blog should be dedicated to LUSH since I do most of my reading in the tub! This one was the “Rocket Science” bath bomb and it smelled phenomenal 💕 #Bookandabath
Amongst all of the LT chaos, I wrote a post to rally the Litsy troops! Check it out at: www.reademandeatblog.com (I might have gotten a little emotional at the end there haha)
I decided last night that I needed a little more Della in my life right now. Turns out that one of the best parts of pulling my car out of winter hibernation is that I can sit in it and read undisturbed.
Just got this book at work and I couldn‘t pass up this cover. Loving the design. Anyone else see a pattern with my recent posts? Haha.

A new blog post is up! This one is how I ALMOST began my switch to ebook exclusivity!

I had just finished telling my coworkers that I was making the switch to ebooks for the foreseeable future - and then this beauty came in warehouse. HOW COULD I NOT?!
Hey Littens! The new blog post is up and today I highlighted one of my favourite horror/thriller tropes! Take a look at:
