For some obscure reason I can‘t enjoy a book or even read a book if it isn‘t 1/brand new and 2/ MINE!
And when @LapReader told me her library was giving away books to support victims of domestic violence, I went along with no expectations whatsoever. Turns out I loved it and got myself 3 boxes of books! Perhaps my curse is over?
This is just box 1. I got a full box of travel guides and another one of just cookbooks!

I think I‘m at that stage where I feel that we probably don‘t need another book in this series (why is it even a series) but I‘ll keep on reading anyway because I just love the characters! And somehow, I think she made this trilogy work. I‘m in love!

Anyone else struggled with this one? I like the idea and it was definitely interesting bit I just got bored and decided to give up after about 100 pages. I never give up on books and usually make sure I finish them but I don‘t want to do that anymore! Persisting with a book that I‘m not eager to read just feels like a waste of time now... I might try it a bit later as an audiobook, maybe I‘ll be able to finish it that way?

Just spent the Easter weekend in Newcastle, at my beautiful friend‘s house, watching the ocean. And occasionally reading 😂
This book didn‘t last me long! I loved the first one and liked this one even more. I‘m devastated there isn‘t a third one!

I‘ve had a sore throat for a few days now so I went to the doctor‘s today. The one I usually go to had no available appointments so I went to a new one. Not my fault it happened to be right in front of a bookshop. I have no self-control near a bookshop. Also, there‘s something about new books that makes them so impossible to resist 😍

I‘m not a big fan of the writing style but I love the story and the very unusual point of view. I definitely recommend!

I‘m not used to this type of reading, so I found it very surprising! But In a good way!

Amazing book! I didn‘t think I would like it so much! It‘s definitely not the type of story I usually go for but Clearly it‘s a mistake.

This is book 1 of the Bookabuy books and tea subscription my friends got me for my birthday. Best birthday present in the world I think. 2 more books to look forward to ❤️

This is my third Kate Morton book, and so far she doesn‘t disappoint! I absolutely loved this book that I just couldn‘t put down. It‘s one of those book that make me feel like I‘ll need a bit of time to recover, and that no other one will measure up to it. I love that feeling.

Love the story, but not the writing..

Much too slow for me! I managed to finish it though (it tales a lot for me to drop a book) but it took me forever !

One of my favourites. I love when women are depicted as being strong and when they beat the odds!

That moment I realised the book club pick was a lincoln rhyme thriller.... I had only watched the bone collector years ago and never realised it was based on a book, and that there were others!! A bit excited to get into the other ones!

A book club pick I‘m very glad I read! I didn‘t particularly liked Sweet Tooth so I was a bit worried about another Ian McEwan book but I couldn‘t put it down. Loved the very particular angle of it!

Very moved by this one. I‘m a bit disappointed I figured put how it was going to end before I got there, but I‘m excited to read more of her books.

Not a bad book at all, very easy read, although quite predictable.. perfect for a summer read.

Very excited that I liked the first book of the Rizzoli and Isles series. Now I get to read all the other ones ! Before actually watching the show 👌
