Books and bookmarks I received from a book swap group I'm in on FB💜
I don't even know where to start with this book I just loved everything about it! It was really unlike anything I had ever read and I couldn't put it down.
Co-worker who I haven't seen in a few months: So how's your book buying ban going? You said you're not buying anymore till June right?
Me trying to keep a straight face while thinking about all the books I ordered in the last month: ...... Oh yeah..... It's going okay. 🤦😬🙈

I loved this book so much! Lira has to be one of my favorite characters I've come across the in awhile. The story was great the plot was kept me invested the entire time and I got attatched to all of the characters but Lira really was the stand out of the book for me. I just adored how even whelile the story progressed she stayed kind of dark.
I've always been a fan of the movie and I can't believe I waited so long to finally read the book. I really enjoyed this one it is creepy and seriously twisted and even though it was written in 1972 it still hold so true to the way woman are viewed.
The plot was fun and I really loved the characters. Emily knows how to write a villain I absolutely hated him so much through the whole book he is written so well. But where King really shines is through her world building the mythos that inspired the story is so wonderful and thoughtout I just wanted more and more of it. The only downside for me was the instalove but even that wasn't too bad since the characters are so likable.
