I was really looking forward to reading this one because the premise sounded so cool and I really liked the beginning. But then it somehow fell flat for me? I‘m not sure exactly what it was but I just found the whole book to be a little meh.

This was a total cover buy for me and I didn't even know what it was about when I started because I randomly grabbed it off my shelf but you know what this was such a fun book. The plot was great it had a nice big cast if characters who each got their own story and it's LGBTQIA+ which was an even bigger plus for me!

Definitely recommend it for a quick standalone read!

This book was so much fun! The audiobook narrator was excellent, so I highly recommend listening to this one. I couldn‘t stop listening. Drop everything you‘re doing and go read/listen to this awesome book right now!

Well it wasn't as dark as I was expecting/hoping it to be but that's fine. I freaking LOVED these characters and the romance was so cute! The pacing is really strong and consistent. The magic aspects was REALLY cool and probably my favourite thing. I find a lot of fantasy standalone a fall flat but this one did not so I'll have to checkout the author's previous work.

I'm taking a week off videos just to get some rest after going back to working 7-days a week!

Destiny Soria is set to visit TBR and Beyond this month so I gotta get to this! I've been eyeing it since I first heard about it!
