Just finished Chew Vol. 4 it was a pretty good read solid 3 stars.

So I started and finished Sandcastle today. I saw the movie first a few weeks ago and I actually really liked it so I was excited to give the graphic novel a try. I was disappointed with it and I think the movie conveyed the concept a lot better. A 1 star read for me.

I finished Guilded and gave it 3 1/2 stars. It was ok but I really licked The Lunar Chronicles better. But I was interested enough to pick up the second book when it comes out.

I read this book for my book club and unfortunately it was a 1.5 star read for me. I thought it was a beautiful story and I loved Vasya but overall I found myself board reading it. I think for me it was just really slow and o didn‘t really care for the writing style.

Going to start The Bear and the Nightingale. Here‘s hoping I enjoy it 😊

A 2.5 star read for me. I liked the first book better and I couldn‘t get into this one as much as I did the first one. A shame since Hades is one of my favorite villains and Jasmine is one of my least favorite princesses. Rating it so so because the plot wasn‘t horrible and had me mildly interested.

A pretty good book. A solid 3 1/2 stars for me. I can‘t wait to see what happens next, especially because it ended on a cliffhanger. I will say that I wish that there was more backstory to some of the crew members as I felt like I knew nothing about some of them and for me it was hard to get into at first.

Started reading Shadow of the Fox. I‘m about 62 pages in and if I‘m honest I‘m not really enjoying it so far I may wind up DNFing this book though I‘m trying to give it at least 100-150 pages before I make that final decision.

Hour 20- I just finished my reread of the fault in our stars and it was amazing as always. This book honestly has me in tears every time I read it but I don‘t love it any less. Hour 1- Doing another 24 hour readathon today and already finished my first book. Ariel Makes Waves was a cute and fast story perfect to get me into the reading mood. Now going to move onto something a little more serious and bound to have me in tears. I can‘t wait!

My current read. I started the first 36 pages last week whilst on a cruise with my family thinking that this was the perfect book to read on a cruise ship. Unfortunately I wasn‘t able to get that far in it. This is also the first adult book I‘m reading instead of a YA or middle grade novel. I‘m sick in bed today so a perfect time for hot tea and a book.

And now a tumblr post that had me dying of laughter. Honestly, this is just one of the truest things I‘ve ever read. Other than the singing they are incredibly similar to the point that in my minds eye Thorne looked like Flynn and Cress looked like Rapunzel. I just finished Stars above and overall I give the book a 3.5/ 5 stars. Not counting the last story in the book because that one alone is a 5/5 stars and worth its own rating. The other stories were cute and entertaining but I didn‘t fall as hard for them as I did the last story or the Lunar Chronicles.
