IndoorDame I think it said dad became a minister after the war, but I don‘t know enough about the church to have any idea who or what subsidies a minister (now or back then) 1y

dabbe I don't think ministers made diddly squat back then. I don't think they make much today either. In the book CLEAR for #CampLitsy, one of the main characters was a minister in the 1800s who needed side jobs just to get by--one of which was removing a man from an island during the Scottish Clearances. 1y

mcctrish Mr March would only be as wealthy as his congregation so he‘d be wanting a wealthy benefactor and he‘d use his own money to help and support the poor within his parish 1y

If you're looking for something brainy and action-packed, with a KICKASS heroine, this is the book for you my friend. Cas is basically a living weapon because of her math skills (just trust me) and though she works alone, she gets caught up in a big scary web and has to work with a great diverse cast of possible helpers to go after the Big Bad Guy. This is SO fun and different and I can't wait for more. 😍

YEP, finished the 2nd book already (they're short, but still).

The intensity ramped up a bit as 3 of the characters tried to get back to the people they love. Loved the ending. I'm gonna go buy American Hippo in paperback, which has these first 2 books PLUS additional stories.

I read Treyjon first (& it's my fave so far) but they do follow a storyline so best to read them in order. Book 1 is $1 on Kindle, so go try it. These books are sweet, sexy, fantastically nerdy. I already have book 4 downloaded. 😄😍💋🌌
