All in all some good character growth and back to the general story but what is up with that ending... the difference is literally a night and day difference and I'm very interested to know more.

Fantastic, heart-pounding, world-on-the-edge-of-total-destruction conclusion to a great series. Jinwoo Sung has one last battle to fight and it‘s going to take everything he has to save the people he loves…oh yeah, and the world too. Epic battles, snarky bad guys (lots and lots of them), and tough decisions. Super fun read and best of all the story is going to continue with a new generation. Can‘t wait to read more!

pickI think it‘s just time to admit that I really enjoy sports manga—even when I don‘t particularly like the sport at the center of the story. 😬🤷♀️ This series continues to be very entertaining as a group of young soccer players compete in a series of team & individual challenges in order to become the best striker in Japan. Surprisingly tense, filled will rivalries, betrayals, camaraderie & more this is a fun, really readable story.

My youngest‘s, now in middle school, first school library haul: One Piece vol 1-4. For those who remember, he was 2 when I joined Litsy. He‘s now 11, and taller than me. 😭 My oldest is now in 8th grade. I‘m living in a time warp!

pickI read a couple of Andrew Mayne's recently and this is probably my favourite because it is straight serial killer book.
I think he is a really solid thriller writer, good quick pacing and imaginative, adventurous stories. I would highly recommend for readers who love Tom Clancy/Reacher/Pattison/Dan Brown etc.
His characterisation is a B- for me, not terrible, but a little under baked. But good enough for a fun beach read.
