What a full circle moment for Deku! My Hero Academia watched. Still stuck on Vol.13 in the manga series.

I know the story from the manhwa (which is up to this point preeetty faithful to this version), but it was still fun to read it in this format and get just a little more of the detail. Jinwoo is so clueless about people's feelings, ahahaha.
Enjoyed it a lot.

I started on this on Christmas morning, while waiting for my wife to get up (we got to bed late because of Christmas prep, but I can't sleep in on Christmas morning). I was tearing through it, already pouting about the wait for the next volume because stuff won't be shipped for a few days...
Look what my sister-in-law (to be) got me for Christmas! Whew...
Feat. my “new old friend“, a little plush Hythlodaeus from FFXIV, which my wife got me. 😁

Barou is such a weird one and selfish to boot but I wasn't expecting to see Naruhaya though and with Barou of all peeps.
Now that was a fun match to watch and to see how everyone has grown in such a short time.
I did think that Reo was going to go after Nagi just to prove a weak point and he's proven me right! Lol 🤣

Rin Itoshi is an animal and just wow. He's unlike any other character that's been introduced and there's been a few but he's beyond a powerhouse.
The ego on him to want to conquer everyone to beat his brother via Blue Lock is crazy but admirable. I hope there's more to his story and his drive because it can't be just to beat his brother. Isagi and Co. have their work cut out for them that's for sure.

This game between Team Z and Team V was a nail biter! I am way too invested in these characters!!
Not only was the game itself fantastic to read and see through the different angles across the panels but OMG what a twist this volume ended on?!?

While I enjoy this series over all, this volume was just alright to me. I didn't quite fall into the drama with Bishamon and her family, didn't understand the transformation of her clothing at any stage, and wanted more of a look at Iki's situation. I also felt like Bishamon's strength was undervalued here. #Manga

Always reassuring when a long running series has a particularly good entry in a later volume. As has happened in the past, this one shone not because it was particularly zany (though the comic quality of this series is to be treasured) but because it managed a multi-episode narrative that was semi-serious in tone, and, as has regularly appeared in the series, commentary on how war affects people as individuals.
