It is rare that I am truly surprised by a book, but this one surprised me in more ways then one. This book made me feel all the feels. Sorrow, Rage, Hope, Shock. At times it was very hard to read on an emotional level and brought tears to my eyes and then another time my mouth was gaping open like a fish because I was dumbfounded. So happy that this book was apart of Round 11 of the #LMPBC. It was recommend that I go into this book ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

DinoMom Blind. To not know anything about it by @TheKidUpstairs . I am so glad listened! @Read-y_Picker it is headed your way! This book was a 4/5 for me and I can‘t stop thinking about it. One of my favourite reads so far this year. Everyone has different flavours they like so it may not suit everyone‘s palate, but I ate this book right up and licked the plate afterwards 📚😃 (edited) 3y

EadieB Alexis' sister, Kasey, is doll-crazy and seems to be acting stranger than ever. Her blue eyes change to green sometimes, she uses old-fashioned language and she loses track of chunks of time, claiming to know nothing about her strange behavior. In their old house, doors open and close by themselves; water boils on the unlit stove; and an unplugged air conditioner turns the house cold enough to see their breath in. 2y

EadieB Alexis knows she's the only person who can stop Kasey -- but what if that green-eyed girl isn't even Kasey anymore? I enjoyed this book and thought it was creepy but not really scary. It is a debut for the author and I see that she has written 3 more books since 2009. I will have to check them out as I think she is a pretty good writer. If you think books about dolls are creepy, then I think you will enjoy this book too! Check it out! 2y

This was a good, suspense-filled novel. I enjoyed the apocalyptic theme. It‘s not my favorite book ever, but I would read more from Tremblay.

Received this package from Lauren Metz today. @Jadams1776 sent Sweet Heart to Lauren a month ago and I mailed her the other 3 books a month ago. I sent a note with Home Before Dark as I was giving her that book. It doesn‘t look like she read any of these books. There was no markings or messages in the package from her. Has she quit Litsy for some reason? Does anyone know?

EadieB @suvata That's a good idea! I will try that. Sweet Heart is my book but I will have to mail the other two books to @Jadams and @magyklyXdelish. It's strange that she returned the Riley Sager book as I gave that to her and she didn't even send a note or comment about anything. It's almost like she is not happy about something but is not letting us know what's wrong. I will try an email to her. Thanks for the suggestion. 3y
