Hello #GroupL! I hope I didn‘t misunderstand the assignment, but these all were tagged as lighthearted on Story Graph. Let me know what you think (or I‘d be happy to go back to the drawing board!)

Deblovestoread I haven‘t read any of these but would go with Honk and Holler because I do remember loving 13mo
TheAromaofBooks My vote would also be for the Honk & Holler, with Lunch in Paris as a second choice!! 13mo
Maggie4483 @Deblovestoread @TheAromaofBooks @inthegreensandblues I‘ll go with the Honk and Holler. I loved Where the Heart Is, too, and so I‘m excited to read another book from Billie Letts! 13mo

Hi #GroupL! These are the books I have that I think will fit the bill for more light hearted reads. This group caught my eye because I've long wanted to read Georgette Heyer, but I know Sarah also proposed one, so I will not pick it if you go with that one! I'll tag the others in comments. @TheAromaofBooks @Deblovestoread @Maggie4483 #LMPBC

Maggie4483 These all sound great! My vote would be for Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe or The Secret Book & Scone Society, but I‘d be happy with any of them. ☺️ 13mo
Deblovestoread I‘ve read Midnight and Book & Scone but the other two look great. 13mo
TheAromaofBooks My vote would be for The Grand Sophy, with second place going to Green Knowe!! 13mo

I‘m am really looking forward to a round of feel good reads. Here are some I found. What do you think? I‘m leaning towards the tagged book but the others sound fun too. They are tagged in the comments.

marleed Input from a random Litsy member… I love Fortnight In September and have purchased it two additional times for gifts. I would recommend reading the history of how and when it was written and published prior to reading because I believe it helps the reader appreciate the simplicity in the story. 13mo
LeahBergen I enjoyed all of these! 😊 13mo
inthegreensandblues I haven't read any of them and they all sound good. 😊 13mo
TheAromaofBooks Yay!! I'm so excited about this round of reading!! I recently read Diary of a Provincial Lady, but haven't read any of the others, so I would be fine with any of them!! 13mo
Maggie4483 These all sound great! I‘d be happy with any of them (and I‘m adding all of everyone‘s picks to my TBR). 13mo
Deblovestoread I appreciate the input especially the tip about reading the history first since this is going to be my pick. Thank you 😊 @marleed 13mo
Deblovestoread I‘m going to go with this one 13mo

I finished my Litsy Markup Postal Book Club read for November a little early. I‘m going to hold off on a review I think until the rest of the group reads it. However, I will say it was a page turner. #lmpbc #groupl

psalva @Reggie I sent this off today for the book club, Group L. Should get to you by Friday I hope. 1y
Reggie I look forward to it, bud. 1y
Reggie Just wanted to say I got this today and just finished the first chapter. I‘m smiling so big. Such a voice. 1y
psalva @Reggie I‘m glad it arrived. Can‘t wait to see what everyone thinks about it! 1y

Absolutely delightful! Venetia is one of my favorite Heyer heroines - they are always uniquely unconventional, but she was exceptional! Good thing she was of strong character, because she had to endure some infuriating people!

What a great choice, Chrissy! Such a fun round #LMPBC #GroupL !

#1958 for #192025

Chrissyreadit Yay!!! 1y
Librarybelle I should read some of my Heyer for the challenge! 1y
TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! I just finished Regency Buck this morning. Is it okay if I go ahead and read Full Moon and send them both together in a week or so? 1y

mabell @batsy I‘m so glad this was one of group‘s picks! I think I read the last 2/3 in one sitting 😆 1y
rubyslippersreads I need to read more Heyer. I love the ones I‘ve read so far. 1y
mabell @rubyslippersreads Always enjoyable! Though they do tend to derail my plans for the day, as I just have to keep reading 🤣 1y

Very fun, with a plot that kept me guessing, and a satisfying ending. I loved Miss Taverner‘s feistiness, even though it frequently gets her into trouble! Another enjoyable read for #LMPBC, Round 15, #GroupL . Great pick, @mabell !

It‘s going out to you in tomorrow‘s mail, @TheAromaofBooks . 📫

TheAromaofBooks Yay!! I'll be on the lookout!! I've really enjoyed this round! 1y
mabell Glad you enjoyed it too! 1y

I'm excited to jump into my next read for #LMPBC #GroupL! @Chrissyreadit the book sleeve you added is so pretty, and very thoughtful of you. I agree that it will help protect the cover.

@mabell @TheAromaofBooks @suvata

KristiAhlers I have yet to read this author. I really need to rectify that error on my part. 2y
TheAromaofBooks Oh I love the book sleeve!!! @KristiAhlers - her books are just so frivolous and fun. They are great if you are looking for something with 0% stress 😂 2y
julieclair @KristiAhlers This will be my second Georgette Heyer book. Venetia, which I read last month, was my first. I am SO happy my #LMPBC #GroupL buddies introduced me to this author. 😀 I highly encourage you to give her a try. 2y

I loved this book! Hard to believe it‘s my first Georgette Heyer. I‘m so glad my #LMPBC #GroupL buddies introduced me to her. I adored Venetia. She is such a wonderful example of a strong, smart, kind woman, who knows her mind and follows her heart. So modern for her time.

It‘s on its way to you today, @TheAromaofBooks . I didn‘t finish in time to make yesterday‘s mail. 🙄
