Some horror-esque short stories for #pridemonth . A low pick, as I liked some a lot more than others. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

I read more this month than any other this year so far, and it was 86% LGBTQ+ books! The Salt Grows Heavy and Iron Widow are probably tied for my favorites of the month.

I finished this book today for book club. Maybe because I rushed to finish it seemed a little hard to follow at times, but there was still a lot to enjoy. I loved the Jin characters, the strong female main character, and the gay best friend with magic map skills. It was an intense adventure with a nice moral. Very quotable.

Intersectional coming of age novel set in 1950s SF Chinatown with McCarthyism lurking in the background. Despite touching on many issues, this novel also feels sweet and simple with themes of finding oneself and first love. #PrideMonth 🌈

Hurray for rose gardens in June! I found a rainbow 🌈 of colors while out in a walk today. Even nature seemed to be celebrating #PrideMonth 😊

I‘m reading way too many books at the moment but loving them all. The tagged book is so sweet and cozy with themes of finding oneself, mothers/daughters, sisters, and travel (in this case to Paris—ooh la la💋🇫🇷).

Continuing with my theme of reading only LGBTQ+ books this month, I finished this one and its heartbreaking. I loved the gradual build of Red and Blue‘s relationship as much as I loved the ease of the sci-fi and the beauty of the writing.

Currently in UT! Finished Delilah Green Doesn‘t Care and This Is How You Lose the Time War, and started Love and Other Disasters yesterday. Headed to Zion today so I don‘t see much reading in the forecast.
