LOVING this new book, and the audiobook is excellent! 😍 Was able to eat breakfast today, so I decided that I'm recovered enough from the stomach bug to run again. 😂 #audiorun #BFCr4 #BFC #RunningonReading @BarbaraJean @Catlover23 @hermyknee

BarbaraJean I loved this book!! I read it in January because of a #newyearwhodis recommendation. Always the Litsy recommendations! 😊 1d
Caterina @BarbaraJean Ohh I'm still slowly working my way through @Emilymdxn 's FANTASTIC #newyearwhodis recommendations! Litsy recs are the best. ❤️😍 24h

I was a little lost at the beginning, but once I read more, the book really piqued my interest. It was a well thought out book that had me guessing until the end. It‘s also devastating to read about this true tragedy. #booked2019 #femaledetective #newyearwhodis

BarbaraTheBibliophage Good review and job on the prompt! 👊🏻📚♥️ 2mo

Love, love, love. It‘s taking everything in me not to run to Barnes & Noble to buy the next book (I want to support my local bookstore, which is closed.) Patience is a virtue. While I was slightly confused with all of the different names to start, I just couldn‘t put it down! Please note, there‘s a glossary in the back. I loved the magic, the characters& the intense, multiple story lines . #booked2019 #muslimauthor #newyearwhodis

Brandon_Lee_Hayes Check your local library to see if they have it! I love buying books and supporting authors but there's nothing wrong with checking out the library! 2mo
Sresendez12 @Brandon_Lee_Hayes yes I love the library! They actually have an e-book available but their server is down and you can‘t download anything. Hopefully this evening! 2mo

Finished my first book of #TheReadingRush! This one was also on my #NewYearWhoDis list... better late than never!

I found the story darkly funny, the main character not particularly likeable, and the plot fascinating.

Challenge completed: Book with 5 or more words in title.

britt_brooke Loved this one! Moshfegh‘s writing is so sharp. 3mo

I put this audiobook on hold way back in December, and it finally came in a couple weeks ago. It was a suggestion from @LauraJ for #newyearwhodis, hosted by @monalyisha! It was an interesting, but difficult read, as it delves into the gritty details of brutal cases and the minds of serial killers. My only complaint is that Douglas came across as a bit egotistical and I got the impression that he was never wrong about a profile/case. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LauraJ He‘s not always the most likable guy. Season 2 of the show is on Netflix in August. 3mo
candority @LauraJ Agreed! I just started watching Season 1 last night! 😊 3mo

"Her name was Adrienne, like a poet I loved. A woman of exclusion, who loved women enough to give her work solely to them. Adrienne was part of a continuum working against erasure."

What a coincidence that I had a book of Rich's poetry sitting right next to me as I read this paragraph in Heart Berries! #newyearwhodis @Emilymdxn

Tired and sore today, so I'm loving my reading break from packing for the move to California. 2.5 hours for #24in48.

Emilymdxn That‘s amazing! Hope the move is treating you okay, I know how exhausting they can be 😢 3mo

Starting this tonight... @MallenNC had this on her #FreakyFriday list last year. I didn‘t have a chance to read it then, so I put it on the list for my library‘s mystery group to read this year.

vivastory This has been on my TBR for awhile. Might need to bump it up! 3mo
Sresendez12 I‘m thinking about picking this one up for #24in48. It was on my #newyearwhodis list and I‘m using it for a #booked2019 post. 3mo
Librarybelle @vivastory @Sresendez12 I like it so far - it‘s a slow burning pace set in a culture of which I‘m unfamiliar 3mo

Wow! This book started a little bit slow for me, but quickly became a book I didn't want to put down. It's a story about a circus unlike anything you've ever heard of. I love how creative and unique this story was! 🎪

wanderinglynn @pilardib There‘s a movie? Last I heard, it had been optioned by Lionsgate and a director had signed on, but that‘s the last I heard about it. (I‘m always behind on these things.) (edited) 3mo
ulrichyumiodd @Cortg Same here! I tried it on audio and couldn‘t focus. I‘m planning to buy a physical copy someday to try again. 3mo

catebutler I LOVED this book! The world building is amazing! It is a detailed and slow read, but so worth it in my opinion. 🎪✨ 3mo
mcipher Love this book, mostly for the luscious descriptions and the sad love story. It‘s mildly confusing to follow the timeline and who‘s who sometimes so be warned. 😉 3mo
