My family has a farm and I‘ve spent many hours reading all over it. I‘ve read entire books while monitoring pumps when the river is up, I often read while waiting for various reasons, and sometimes I listen to audiobooks while operating equipment or just working by myself.

How fun! It‘s not very strange, but the situation was a little strange for me. I went on tour with a vocal group performing a sort of opera by medieval composer Hildegard von Bingen. We had different hairdressers in each city who simply had to put it up to hide it behind the mitres that we wore. I had a LOT of hair. I would sit and read and ignore everything around me. It impressed my colleagues.

I read on the steps across from the Damascus Gate on Tuesdays after my work in Jerusalem ends, which maybe counts as a weird place to read? Also, thanks to the wonder of audiobooks, I read while doing lots of other things: riding the bus (I get carsick, so otherwise I couldn't read then), doing mindless office work in Jerusalem, cooking dinner, cleaning, walking... 😊👍

I have a habit of associating certain books with where I was when I read them. When I was doing my Masters in Halifax, I remember going out for Chinese food by myself, so I took my book with me. So I guess that's the strangest place I've ever read. #mmturns29

#mmturns29 I read in my car on my lunch break every day (as I am right now) because if I try to read in the break room, everyone wants to talk to me. I‘m READING, people! 😂❤️📖I also read in the bathtub and in the pool. I read almost anywhere, honestly. @MatchlessMarie
