The Westin Hotel Boston Waterfront houses a Starbucks. Started my morning with coffee. Later today I plan to venture out in the cold & visit some local coffee shops nearby.

#ChillingPhotoChallenge #day8 #Ghostly There‘s been a few books written about the ghosts of the Q Station at the mouth of Sydney Harbour. I have 1st Hand experience of them, I took the ghost tour with my 2 eldest a few years ago & it scared the hell out of me. I heard, felt & saw things I can‘t explain, including a figure on the same verandah as in the B&W pic above. I highly recommend a visit. #Scareathlon #TeamSlaughter 2points #PointsTotal-132
#RedRoseSeptember #Day8 #History The Great War has always been a part of history that interests me. The fact that the human race said it was “the war to end all wars” then just over 20 years later did it all again boggles my mind. The horror of the Somme & Gallipoli should never have been repeated but people are stupid unfortunately. In doing my family history I found numerous relatives who were there, and a few that never made it back. #warsucks
#AyUpAugust #Day8 #DontMarryHer Reading The Will Trent series by Karin Slaughter, you really wish someone had stood up & screamed at Will “DONT MARRY HER!” as soon as he thought about marrying Angie Polaski aka Devil Woman. This character is one of the most devious, manipulative, twisted & thoroughly evil character of either sex I‘ve ever read. Kudos to Ms Slaughter for her ability to believably write the most damaged characters.
#AugustABC #Day8 #HolyHell This series was the first Lilith Saintcrow books I‘d ever read, I loved them so much I‘ve now read everything she‘s written. My favourites are the Jill Kismet books but these are fantastic as well. Dante Valentine is a necromance who raises the dead for a living. Until the devil wants her for a job & sends his right-hand-man Japhrimel to make her an offer she can‘t refuse. Holy hell indeed.
This was the first Dean Koontz book I ever read. It was recommended to me by my dad, who also loves to read. I‘ve read this one a few times. I still love it.

My bf and I are headed out of town again this weekend, and we have a 2 hour drive to get to my hometown of Seward, AK to visit my family and enjoy the outdoors. We plan on going on a hike tomorrow as it‘s supposed to be a nice day.
We will be continuing our listen of the tagged audiobook for our drive down and back home. Almost halfway through!
DS9 3.04 #Equilibrium The crew has Sunday dinner! Epi focusses on Trill culture & biology and how memories create identity. A procedural mystery, follows clues that could indicate Jadzia is going insane or that something was done to her. The answer has long term consequences for Jadzia and Ezri. More b&w morally than most other DS9 episodes.
Equilibrium is an economics concept, but Tipping Point is at least interesting.

TNG 7.02 #Liaisons, or as I call it, the rapey episode. 3 alien “diplomats“ go on an expedition onto the Enterprise to experience emotions. №1 focusses on Troy and desserts (creepy), №2 focusses on anger and Worf (creepy) and №3 transforms into a female to trap and seduce Picard (CREEPY AND TRIGGERY). And they get away with it because 'they didn't know better'. I hate this episode so much. Titled after tagged, of course.
