I‘ve read a ton of McCrumb books but this one is still on the TBR. It is a beautiful cover. And it‘s mostly brown.

His reaction was often violent, much different from most Abolitionists who put pen to paper or made speeches about the evils of slavery.I visited Harpers Ferry, took a long tour w/ a NPS ranger giving details of what transpired there.I tell you, it was a beautiful place & brought out an emotional response to the place in me I can‘t forget .

My drawing ability is so limited, I can‘t even draw the Puerto Rican flag in the right square! Nevertheless, I‘m happy to have a reason to break out the colored pencils to embellish my also handmade #bookspinbingo board.
