rjsthumbelina Haha! I didn't make my goal either. I blame grad school and working 3 jobs. I think the majority of my reads this year were on audio while driving! Today, I am figuring out how many books I want to shoot for next year, and which challenges actually seem achievable for me 😁 6y

This book was cool😎 I didn‘t really understand ALL of it, and I may have done some skimming but the stuff I read was FASCINATING 🙌🏻Every new technology mentioned in this book, is already being pioneered and tweaked by scientists today. The 22 century will make our lives look like The Flintstones. Magnetic powered cars that hover to transport you, robot doctors who make house calls by the blink of your eye, an elevator to space❣️#ReadHarder✅👇🏼

Redheadrambles @Cinfhen noooo I get that feeling too particularly when I select something I end up not liking but I really enjoy the challenge of searching for books I might like that meet the task. It‘s has really opened my eyes to novels I might never have considered. 7y

Collected Poems | Constantine Cavafy, Edmund Keeley

Did not read the tagged book. I read a collection of translated poetry by Anita Ghahreman. Born in Iran, written in Farsi & translated into English her poems were lyrical, sad, sensual. I'm not "deep" enough to appreciate all the nuances but I enjoyed some quiet moments of reflection. #ReadHarderChallenge2017 #poetryintranslation

Librariana I chose not to attempt the Read Harder Challenge this year, but did print out info for the Modern Mrs Darcy challenge. I think based on the books I've read for Litsy A to Z, I may have a good portion of the tasks done 😊 Will have to check and see. 7y

Getting over an oral surgery today and finished this book! A sweet and poignant fairy tale retelling with an LGBTQ twist. Great escapism for me today! I love the way Malinda Lo does YA. Her characters are always very believable to me and the love interests typically unfold in a natural way, rather than an insta-love way like some YA novels. Great pick for anyone who enjoys fairy tales!
