Enjoyed this mystery - I had a few suspects but did not know until the end who did it and why - an English teacher is surrounded by murder- people she knows are getting hurt - it seems to be tied into an author she is writing about and his story “The Stranger“ - this was a well written and interesting story and I enjoyed the story within the story -

I truly have enjoyed these series of books. Spicy with the ultimate alpha bad guy. This story is inspired by the Apollo and Daphne myth. I don‘t want to give too much away and offer spoilers so I‘ll just say this is a spicy page turner. This is a dark romance so if that‘s not your cuppa…maybe consider another read. #blqsummerreadingchallenge #orangecover #romantsy

This did a pretty good job of blending fantasy/magical realism, traditional Korean folktales, and a modern story about growing up and finding your place in a family. This book never fails to hit a reset button in my heart and mind. It makes me think more broadly and love more deeply. I will continue to reread again! I recommend it to everyone.
