bailedI just can‘t connect with the material at all. Sometimes I enjoy uncovering lives different than my own, but her reactions to her martial crisis and giving up her child for adoption just don‘t make sense to me. Also, some points were belabored enough to drive me batty!

bailedI‘m just not feeling this. The premise is kinda cool - that the NYC boroughs are represented by avatars, but 30% in, I know I‘m not going to continue with the series. While the #audiobook narration is awesome, I‘m just not connecting with the material. I can‘t push through another 11 hours. #itsnotyouitsme??

Just swapped out Theft By Finding for this audiobook🎧🤓David Sedaris was wayyyy too dark ( I don‘t mind the words P*ssy, ejaculation, bosoms or crotch but it honestly became too much. It took me soooooo long to read this book. I should have DNF'd, but so many people love it that I needed to see what I was missing. Unfortunately, it was buried in so many metaphors that I could hardly find the plot. I'm sorry to anyone that loved it. #itsnotyouitsme

But this felt like a celebrity memoir regurgitating the events of the #metoo movement. What I wanted was a collection of insightful essays. Not to relive all the gross moments of the last few years, from a lens that was full of name dropping and unrelatable. #itsnotyouitsme
