Favorite Books: The Girl From the Grand Hotel and La Grieta Del Silencio
pickIt‘s a shame clowns get such a bad rap these days. Because this guy Larry Harmon a.k.a. my pal Bozo filled my childhood with love and laughter. Larry had a deep seated belief that humor, compassion and caring can bring “all” people together. And he dedicated his life work spreading joy and smiles around the world via this endearing and lovable character. We could sure use more role models like this. Fascinating read!

pickA slow start, but ultimately worth it in my opinion. Very different from what I‘m used to, and look forward to what my book group thinks. Also, #doublespin and finished my February #wickedwords with candlestick.
pickPalahniuk is very hit or miss for me, mostly because his narrators are almost always unreliable and unlikable, and often the grossness factor goes beyond my limits.
This one does have its very gross moments, but I did get pulled in by the story which was fast paced and in a twisted way I was rooting for the MC.
Just a low pick, as the middle dragged a bit and I didn‘t love the ending. Definitely 🍌👖.
