Just okay for me. It was somewhat predictable, I figured out the “twist” fairly early and found it a bit formulaic. I will probably continue the series, but this was not the best thing I‘ve read in the genre. 🤷🏽♀️

Litsy's working for me again! I can now post what I'm reading. I'm starting Heartless Hunter.😄
I tried. I made it to 50% because I was hoping for cool witchy world building. Unfortunately, it‘s just another romantasy tropes retread. I don‘t care about any of the characters so I‘m bailing. #hailthebail!
Last summer I decided romantisies might not be my jam as I sped read through steam to return to world building. But I gave this a try and I‘m glad I did. The romance (not too steamy) was integral to the witchy world being built, and I look forward to Book2. This new series‘ use of blood is a little cringey, but I‘m very blood shy🩸
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Tropey, twisty, witchy fun! The cat and mouse element was entertaining, the characters were compelling, and the world-building was interesting. I‘ll definitely check out the second book and will look forward to seeing how everything develops! 🎧
Loved this one!!! Highly recommend!!
This YA fantasy retelling of The Scarlett Pimpernel (one of my favorite books when I was a teenager) is a lot of fun—predictable but an entertaining page turner that kept me engaged. It‘s the first in the series so it leaves you in the thick of it and with plenty of reasons to read the next installment.
Going with witches tonight…that and probably a lot of drama. We‘ll see!
My February Owlcrate book has arrived and it's so lovely! 🥰 I'm really digging this color scheme! 💕📚 #owlcrate
The books I picked for February #botm! My goal this year is to actually read them and not just buy them! 🤪
The Book of the Month choices are officially live! 🥳🎉🎉🎉 Best day of the month! I only picked three this time, but the ones I chose I'm VERY excited about! Which titles are you going with for February? #botm
