Completed this #pantone2025 board!
As a continuation of my last post, I thought I had finally pulled off my 30 book goal in the last two days only to find out that a book had been catalogued twice and alas I only reached 29. However, I will not be rushing to finish it this year as I feel that doing so would take away the fun and point of me setting these goals. I want to hit the goal because I was loving what I was reading, not to say I got to a certain number. So good job me (:
Man I had really fallen off the band wagon with posting on here…I‘ve made some significant progress with the Pantone Colour challenge! I read a wide variety of books (which is not very common for me) as well as rating some very high and very low. I started the year off strong, even thinking I may read more than my 30 book goal on Goodreads. However, the last half of the year I really slowed down and even got into a bit of a reading rut..
Repost for @Lauredhel
Ok people, the #Pantone2025 #readingchallenge is ready! This is a challenge based on the seasonal trend colours from Fashion Weeks.
Please note there are TWO grids - for London (blue border) & NY (green border). Later, two more grids will be released for autumn/winter trend colours. To play, just find a colour in a book cover then plonk the cover into the grid. That‘s it, you‘re done!
And, yes, White Grape was in both!

I did it, I included all #Pantone24 colors in the covers of my books! Fun challenge!
By finishing today‘s book I can add # four more #Pantone24 colors. Just two left to complete the challenge. Here are Baritone Blue, Starlight Blue, Raw Umber and Iguana!
I have chosen my books, packed my small suitcase and am ready to go to Gladstone in the morning. Very excited!
All week I have read little, too busy with life and stuff. Hopefully I‘ll make up for that in that famous library reading room!
For now I am only able to add four more #Pantone24 colors for the challenge. Only five left!
Going well with #Pantone24, only 8 more colors to go. Here are Chutney, Buckthorn brown, Aventurine and Scarlet Smile.
#Pantone24 Look at these beauties, called Dark Shadow, Storm Front, Moon Struck and White Swan… summer‘s over I guess 😀🍂🍁

It's time for the second half of #Pantone2024!
This time l've separated it into NY and London fashion week colours - see my other post - and l've again included the New Classics.
You can play bingo, go for a full card, just play for fun - whatever you like. Find a colour somewhere in the cover of whatever you're reading, and tag @lauredhel @BarbaraBB

I am adding four more colors to #Pantone24: Mushroom, Northern Droplet, Charlock and Watercress. I have eight more colors to go but those will be more difficult I guess.
The first half is the easiest. Here are four more #Pantone2024 matches: Lemondrop, Boulevard, Fiesta and Bistro Green 🌈🌈🌈🌈
Thanks to my good friend @Librariana for sharing her Pantone colour boards! I have one book I haven‘t placed yet because I can‘t decide which colour best fits. So far this year I‘ve enjoyed everything I‘ve read and this challenge is making it so much more fun! Can‘t wait to continue to add to this.
Hi.
Lately, I've been trying to concentrate on my reading. A novel idea, I know.
In the past, I've chatted with my adopted sis @CBee about not feeling like a part of the Litsy community... but I realize it's my own doing, choosing to be digitally absent because I don't feel "good enough," whether it be in the quality of a review or the amount of participation I engage in.

Four more lovely #Pantone2024 colors: Capri, Blue Fox, Horizon Blue and Deep Well!
#pantone2024 My first four matching covers of the year: Orangeade, Sun Orange, Tarragon and Moth.
I was 29/30 books for the #pantone2023 challenge and I still have to post some books here but I was very proud of how many I managed to fit!
@Clwojick this was a fun challenge
Match your book covers to the Pantone colors of 2024 with the #Pantone2024 #readingchallenge

Both of these posts also include a link to a Storygraph challenge.
I've tried to make a usable image to share of the main and bonus colours of the #Pantone2024 #readingchallenge (thanks @BarbaraBB for the pointer!)

Unfortunately @Clwojick won‘t continue her #Pantone challenge but on Storygraph I found that Anglelist (not on Litsy) has created the #Pantone2024 challenge based on the release of the NYC & London fashion weeks.
I thought I‘d share this with you, for anyone who enjoyed the past years. Thanks so much for hosting, Cassandra!

I finished #Pantone23 and have enjoyed it a lot again! I hope there‘ll be new colors next year @Clwojick 🌈 such a fun challenge!
