So I am gonna post on this one (I think initially I posted on one of the volumes but I have to the one that says “complete cartoon epic in one volume“ so... This fits the bill. (Kinda sad I am not reading this in color... I might have to get them in color later)..

A mix of epic fantasy and comedy, Bone is extremely readable and engaging. The 1300 page hero‘s journey also comes in many versions and price points - black and white or color in 55 issues, 9 collections, or one massive volume.

I just finished this last night, It was a fantasic read. I loved the story and the characters. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Back in August I destroyed my Samsung tablet at the beach which I used exclusively for reading on the go and in bed. I am going to be replacing it on boxing day. My question to you littens, is which size screen do you like reading on? 7", 8" or 10"? I'm thinking that 10" would be too big and I loved the 7" but maybe I'd like the 8" for the electronic graphic novels I have. So what do you all like to read on?

As a youth, I reveled in rereading comic series like this, especially in anticipation of a new volume. Bone is especially beloved, an antidote to the harsher, highly problematic Cerebus; indeed, the grace with which Bone segues from breezy adventure to fantasy epic is one of its greatest strengths, sidestepping so-called "Cerebus syndrome." Totally deserving of its acclaim.

#booktober day 23, fav graphic novel. I cheated and picked the entire series in one volume, but Jeff Smith's Bone books are amazing ; funny and cute and epic all at the same time.
