I loved everything about this chapter, and am liking this book so far! Bourdain‘s writing is so easy to read and down to earth that I‘ve gotten lost in almost every chapter.
Apologies if posted too many times. For those still mourning this wonderful soul. Fortunate to have a real copy of this book.
I saw this on my deals you may like and couldn't resist. I really enjoyed his writing style!
This may be my favorite thing I saw today that was written about the amazing Anthony Bourdain. Chef Tyler Florence posted this on Twitter:
His swagger, his prose, his grit. Tony didn‘t give a fuck the way most of us wish we could. That‘s what made him special. Right now He, Bukowski, Hemingway and Wilde are splitting a bottle of scotch, swapping war stories, prepared to drink each other under the table, with verve.

More A. Bourdain quotes... Thank you for the beauty you have left in your wake. May the peace you so desperately yearned for wrap you in it's loving embrace for the rest of eternity.
My heart hurts so much. π

I first learned of Anthony Bourdain because of a college reading assignment on Typhoid Mary. This death hit hard and maybe because I have been quietly struggling for a couple of months. It‘s so crazy how hard it is for us to talk about our pain and struggles. Litsy is such a beautiful community of wonderful people. I wish I could hug all of you. You are all important, beautiful people. I am sending hugs and love.
1. Anything by Anthony Bourdain.
2. Hm. Sushi! Well, actually miso soup π
3. Super, duper spicy things

5. I'm lame. I love diners. My fave place right now is Shari's.

#FierceFeb #Nasty I know I should be going for girl power here but I went the easy way out with the only book currently in my stacks with 'nasty' in the title. Although. Not my favorite of Bourdain's books but this collection of essays--mostly surrounding food--can be outrageous & a bit nasty in tone & sometimes subject matter.
Spotted this on the shelf at a library book sale! Can't wait to dive in, because we all know how I feel about Tony. ππ» #thenastybits #anthonybourdain
America's most dangerous export was never nuclear weapons or Jerry Lewisβor even Baywatch reruns. It was, is, and probably always will be our fast-food outlets.
I mostly just want to hang out with him, drink some beer and eat delicious food. #mancrush #octphotochallenge
This book was SO obnoxious, but the intro had so many bits that spoke to the exact way I feel about life, travel, being an expat.... So much so that I did something I never, ever do: I actually used a highlighter on a book! I know, I know. I'm shocked too.
