I couldn't stop reading this book 😍😍😍😍😍
I just checked out the audiobook of You on Libby. When I went to update my goodreads, I noticed I'm now reading both You and Me. Coincidental trend in my reading. 😆
If we were teenagers, I could kiss you. But I‘m on a platform behind a counter wearing a name tag and we‘re too old to be young.
I‘m so conflicted about this, I don‘t really know how to review it. On one hand, it was compulsory readable. I just couldn‘t stop. On the other hand, Joe‘s obsessiveness, jealousy, and sexism scared me so much, because that‘s real. It isn‘t a fictionalised monster, they are real problems in the world. And it made me so uncomfortable to read about. So yeah, not really sure how I feel right now.
#SocialMediaFocus last book for #Booked2019, tho! 🙌
I started listening to this today on my drive to work, and oh my, Joe is a creep! I know I‘m late to the party, and so far, I‘m not sure I‘m that glad I joined 😅
Used for #SocialMediaFocus for #Booked2019
I didn‘t know anything about this book prior to reading it. It‘s not what I expected, but it is entertaining. I‘ll keep on reading it to see what develops...
I‘ve been wanting to read this ever since I watched the Netflix series. Getting started on it now.
I shouldn‘t have a literary crush on Joe, but I do. 🖤🖤🖤

Excited to start this one today! Loved the Netflix series. Can‘t wait to see how they compare.
Been working on getting the guest room ready for my Mom so of course I had to add a stack of books that she can read while shes here.
This book leaves you on the edge of your seat. The language wisps you away into a world of mystery, love, murder. A story about the dark side of romance.
Eww! Gross! #imanoldprude
Gratuitous sex and violence. Just not a fan of these types of books. I'm glad it is done. #nwc I might have to watch the series on mute. It made me read outside of my comfort zone, but I would blush and hope no one was reading over my shoulder. I need to take a shower. 😳😖😜🙅 On a positive note, the narrator loved literature so many classic works were referred by him.
Well saw the first episode today!!!! Its creepy! But so far its going with the book! #NWC
I got this on target I'm glad they have it, thank you so much 😍😍😍
#FriYay night with You. Picked up my copy weeks at the library and tonight I finally have a moment to read.

Took a break form reading and start this one @TheReadingMermaid #teamstoker #buddyread @AsYouWish
Finished this last night, I had to read it quick as I wanted to find out the full extent of Joe‘s creepiness and it was EXTREME!!!! The whole book was just unsettling, as it was supposed to be. I think there‘s a sequel, not sure I would read it. Maybe in time. Need to get some space from Joe first!
4.5/5 ⭐️s Loved reading from the perspective of a psychopath. I hated all the characters, not because they were poorly written (in fact the opposite), but because they were trash people. So pretentious and disturbing. Excited to read the sequel!
Reading for alittle bit and then going to take a shower.... then it's back to read til I pass out! *BTW this is a weird book and I'm only on the 2nd chapter. I've never read a book that says You so much!*
Started on this yesterday and am already 125 pages in. Been meaning to read this for so long and am now suitably creeped out by it and guessing that feeling will last until I finish!!
I don‘t want to pan this because it‘s a decent read but I‘m a little tired of dead girls.
This is one of the best books I‘ve read this year. I originally watched “You” on Netflix and discovered it was based on a book. In the beginning, it‘s almost word for word identical but as you get further into it, it gets darker and more intense than the show was. I cannot wait to grab Hidden Bodies and continue the story of Joe.
I finally got around to reading this and I really enjoyed it. It is told from the perspective of the stalker and I thought it was well done. Joe is a completely twisted, obsessive sociopath, but even though you are aware of this, you can‘t help but feel sympathy for him at times. Looking forward to finally watching the Netflix series!
2 points for a team theme read and 1 point participation.
#teamslaughter @Clwojick
An entertaining read where the monster is likable and the heroine is toxic. 3 points I think? Plus #ScaryScavengerHunt - Where a character dies.

Current read is tagged and checking out The Blackcoats Daughter on streaming. #scarathon #teamstoker 2 points!

Reading my library books in a cozy warm house has been cancelled. #catsoflitsy #notmycat #reallywantedtotakeithometho
Started this for #nwc and I'm already sucked in! I watched the show last year and loved it! Excited for season 2 coming in December!
#novelwatchingcrew
I would say this is psychological thriller... but oh so good :) I‘m gonna hit the series again soon :)

1 point for book read + 1 point participation = 2 points
I love all of chapter 10. Joe‘s ranting about Stephen King fans (I‘m so one of them) but yeah.... he is so pretentious and I love it!!!

I‘m going to be rereading this one for my book club! And rewatching the series :)
Excited to announce the winning book for the #NovelWatchingCrew group for October is You by Caroline Kepnes! Get your books ready for a fun filled month of Thrillerness (is that a word? haha). I'll be trying to come up with a challenge to do along side of the book with the help of the lovely Elizabeth (@AsYouWish). So keep a look out for that. Also anyone is welcome to still join. #NWC
Creepy. Suspenseful. Intriguing. Uncomfortable. Frustrating. Wonderfully written.
Admittedly I watched the #Netflix show first, but that's nothing compared to the book. It's so twisted and eerie, very mature, however I did find that it dragged on at some parts. I enjoyed this book, but I dont think I will re-read it, but like all my other book babies, it goes on the bookshelf!

Disclaimer: I watched the Netflix show first!
Having said that, i feel like it added an extra level of creepiness to Joe and really made the book great for me. There was a lot of sexual content so be aware if sensitive. For the most part the show followed along with the book with some minor changes besides the ending being different. Definitely recommend if you love obsessed, creepy love stories.
This was a disturbing story of a man, Joe, who stalks his potential partners. Given that the subject matter was dark, Joe actually examines his life with humour and a fair bit of honest reflection so in the end he‘s much more likable than the people he hopes to have relationships with. Some aspects of the story were a bit unbelievable, but overall this was a good, fast read ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/4
This was such an entertaining audiobook! I loved the POV from the stalker. Would highly recommend, especially on audio! #InNantucket 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Took a little nap, now waiting for my mom to wake up so we can have dinner!
