Bear hugs | Litsy

Today was exhausting. We thought we could get my daughter's passport through one of the banks (where we got the youngest's done last year) but their systems were down. So today we went to a regular Home Affairs office and it was hell. Terrible traffic and two hours just to get in the door. Just came back from the eldest's small music concert, it's late and I need to get my youngest in bed. Spending some time on Litsy for a bookish hug.

I don't ever feel comfortable asking for hugs or even really reaching out when I need them, but somehow, this community feels like where I can. My eldest dog, who has terminal cancer, isn't doing well and hasn't been for almost a week. I'm really sad. When I'm not assessing whether it's time for her, I'm trying to figure out how to stay one step ahead of my puppy. I'm overwhelmed and burnt out. I need just a little bit of 💜 to get through this.

Mdargusch I‘m so sorry. I‘m going through the same thing. One of my dogs has terminal cancer and the other one is dying from kidney disease, so I know what you‘re going through. It‘s devastating. 😢 My vet tells me that they don‘t know they‘re dying so just try to enjoy every minute with them. 6y
