last book of 2017! this YA romance suffers a little bit from an annoyingly obtuse main character and a slow, boring middle, but the ending was sweet, funny, and pretty satisfying. #ya

The story is cute, it just wasn‘t working for me at the begging... that‘s why I have drag this one out. Overall, it‘s not that bad.

I needed something bright and cheery, and this is hitting the spot (Winnie approves too, despite evidence to the contrary)

I can finally say that I‘m almost through with my TBR pile - said no bookworm ever. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

I really enjoyed this novel.
From the beginning in which we are greeted with Nattie's family plus Sam, the foreign exchange student, I had some definite John Hughes vibes mainly of the Sixteen Candles variety.

What should I do? Study or read a little. It's kinda tempting with the book by my side. 🤔😅
