Give me a book with letters and a character with anxiety and I‘m almost instantly sold. I loved this coming-of-age novel and how the character and story developed. Whimsical with a dash of magic and a pinch of romance = a very enjoyable story.
“Keep going, be nice, make friends”
I adored this book. The Alvin series was such an ode to HP. I loved the references to Doctor Who. But what I loved most of all is how the characters felt so real. It was such an accurate portrayal of life, loss, and anxiety.
I‘m finally getting caught up on some Uppercase picks!
#SpookyOctober. My TBR is super long (really who's isn't?!?!?)!!! So I will focus on what I would like to read for October. I want to finish Everything All At Once and Little Fires Everywhere. Next in my queue for October are the following King's Cage, Total Money Makeover, and Anna Karenina PLUS whatever I get in my #uppercase box and #BOTM box!!! It's going to be a busy booktober 🎃 🍃🍎🕸🍂🍁📖
Enjoying my Saturday morning - coffee ☕️ and a book 📖! Then I have to study Spanish (not for school, but for work). Anyone here learn a new language as an adult?
What is everyone reading today?

I was tagged by @bookishkris for #fivestarpredictions. Here are the five upcoming that is really looking forward to. A couple of them I've just started and already can tell they are going to get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'll tag @Graciouswarriorprincess @dragondrool @CaitMobley @SoniaC @tpixie if you feel like playing along!
😭😭😭 I'm not crying - you're crying.
Another love letter to books and had a credible portrayal of an anxiety order. Also, the love of their Alvin Hatter series was similar to the love of the Fillory books in The Magicians trilogy (or everyone's love of Harry Potter).
It's like Words in Deep Blue meets Eliza and Her Monsters - both of which I loved. 😍
Also, I loved her brother Abe and his love of books even more than Sam.
I'm the luckiest Litsyian ever! My wonderful #secretbookfriend sent me this incredible package of back to school gifts today! That notepad is absolutely perfect 👌🏻 I love it all and I'm diving into this book tonight 💕 I'm dying to know the identity of the amazing person sending me all this #anonymousbookmail. You have truly made my year...thank you! 😘
Yay! My August Uppercase Book Box finally came! I've been waiting for what feels like an eternity...
I'm so happy is came!!
This month's book was Everything All At Once by Katrina Leno, and while I still have yet to read it, I have heard nothing but hype surrounding this book!
The goodies in this month's box were amazing. They included a gorgeous set of bookmarks, an amazing stainless steel bracelet, and a post-it pack!
Overall, five stars!!💛
August UpperCase: Everything All At Once, His Dark Materials bookmarks, stainless steel Bibliophile bracelet, everything all at once sticky notes!
Abbreviated TBR and currently reading list...
All my other books are in boxes waiting for the movers to pick them up on Monday and Tuesday, then I won't be reunited with them until Friday.
I just want to hide myself away and read until this move is finished. 😢 But on the upside, our new house will have a whole extra bedroom I can devote to my library. 📚
August #UppercaseBox! It came with a signed copy of Everything All At Once, sticky notes, Golden Compass bookmarks, and a Bibliophile bracelet! 🌊
#TBRtemptation post 1! Just released. A #YA novel about 24 dares in 3 weeks. Lottie's always had anxiety, and the death of her Aunt Helen makes her feel like her own death is imminent. Her aunt, a famous series writer, leaves instructions in letters for Lottie to follow and get outside her comfort zone. It's Jennifer Niven, 13 Little Blue Envelopes, & Tuck Everlasting mixed into one. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
Lottie's Aunt Helen is the author of a bestselling children's book series; when she dies, she leaves Lottie a series of letters with increasingly risky dares that not only push her to live life to the fullest, but that ultimately help her unravel a mystery about the possibly magical inspiration for her aunt's famous books.
